"Is three enough?" Kira asked, as nervous as all of us

"Depends on how many cameras they have. But i think so." Stiles answered.

"Are we really doing this?" Liam asked, the nervousness bubbling in my chest as i laced my fingers with his.

"We're doing it. Tonight." Scott announced.

"But isn't it kind of dangerous?" Liam asked, squeezing my hand gently.

"It's incredibly dangerous." Stiles nodded.

"And borderline idiotic! I mean, how do you know it'll work?" i asked, looking at Scott.

"Yeah, have you guys done something like this before?" Liam agreed.

"Something dangerous? Or something idiotic?" Stiles sighed.

"I think it's a yes to both." Kira answered.

"You don't have to be a part of it if you don't want to." Scott reassured us.

"Oh no, i'm not letting this idiot out of my sight ever again." I chuckled, pointing at Stiles.

"I'm not scared." Liam deadpanned. He was lying, i could feel his fear in the pit of my stomach.

"Then you're borderline idiotic." Stiles shook his head at Liam, rubbing his shoulder, maybe for a little too long. I slapped his hand, furrowing my eyebrows at him in annoyance, causing him to put his hands in the air in defence.

"If we do this, we don't know what's coming for us. You know that right?" Stiles reminded us.

"I know exactly who's coming for us. A homicidal maniac." I rolled my eyes.

"How do we even know somethings definitely coming?" Kira asked, way too optimistic about all of this.

"Because the tape from Garrett's bag said visual confirmation required." I fell silent at the name, Liam squeezing my hand in support.

"Simon said the same thing. He couldn't get paid by the benefactor until he had proof that you guys were dead." Stiles sighed, looking down at his shoes.

"So the idea is, what if you kill someone on the dead pool, but you can't send the proof?" Scott said.

"You don't get paid." Kira nodded.

"Sorry, maybe i'm missing something here." i sighed, shaking my head.

"How does that get us any closer to the benefactor?" Liam asked, taking the words right out of my mouth.

"He still needs to know if the target is really dead." Scott spoke.

"Especially if it's someone high on the list." Stiles finished.

"So if he wants visual confirmation.."

"He's gonna have to come get it himself." i finished Liam's sentence, sighing as my phone rang, "One second Malia's calling."  Everyone's eyes widened, apart from Liam's who smiled, letting go of my hand.

"Okay." he smiled.

"Hello?" i answered.

"Hey, um just wanted to let you know that i'm sitting out on this one."

"Yea, that's fine i totally understand. If i had a choice i would too." i shrugged.

"They told you?" Malia asked.

"Told me what?" i asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Uh- gotta go! Bye!" Malia answered, cutting off the phone.

"Hello?" I asked, pulling the phone from my ear. "Stiles!" I called out, marching back into the kitchen.

"Uh- yea?" he stammered.
