The people cheered at Ally's answer and nudged Cameron until he caved into peer pressure. He cast a blank look at her and they both got up from their seats. Her nerves were starting to rise, her palms turning sweaty. She should've thought this through before agreeing. But it was too late the people were cheering for her with full energy.

They walked at the centre of the circle and stood looking at each other for a moment. "You can back out if you want to. Emily may not be good with this." She advised him.

"She's a cool girl. She'll understand it was a dare." He firmly said in accolade for his girlfriend.

"Okay I'm going to do this really quick." She took the deepest breath and rubbed her sweaty hands on her jeans. She came closer to him but not too close intentionally avoiding any other bodily touch which may be too hard to retrieve.

"Come on, Ally!" One of the boys had shouted pushing her off the edge.

"You're really going to do this?" He snorted still unconfident in her courage.

"On the count of three." She ignored the shock that came on his face.

All thought left her. She placed a hand on his neck and closed the distance between them. His full tangy lips came crashing on her but he was too shocked to move a muscle. He remained inert for awhile but she continued pressing her lips onto his. He reacted suddenly moving his lips once or twice in rhythm with her. He tasted so sweet she wasn't sure why she had not accepted him before. He very slowly moved his lips questioning the value of the kiss.

He quickly reacted again but this time he broke the kiss. She wondered for a split second what she had done wrong. He opened his eyes and deeply looked into hers. He was so close their noses were brushing together. She was a little out of breath but she didn't move an inch away staring back into his beautiful eyes. She didn't know what he saw or how he felt at that particular moment.

Before she could comprehend any further, he cupped her cheeks and his lips were back again on hers. His lips moved urgently this time faster than hers and she tilted her head slightly to keep pace. There was so much power in his kiss she forgot about the dare or Emily or the party. She forgot everything in those seconds of her life. It was only her and him at that moment totally savouring each other for every second they possibly could. He pressed further and she replicated his movements as the inevitable attraction she felt for him multiplied. She couldn't help but melt into his lips, her legs were turning feeble unable to support her. But he continued to hold her tightly as she tried to maintain her racing heart.

Then she felt him smile into the kiss and she couldn't ask for anything more. She felt contented warmth spreading inside her. Suddenly the howls and screams of the crowd reached her ears. She was thrown into facing the reality that this boy in her arms did not belong with her. He was someone else's.

She pulled away without a warning and his eyes fluttered but opened at once. His hands were still up in the air where he had held her face. He looked at her shuddered by her withdrawal. His face showed no sign of expression; his mouth slightly open as he gaped at her.

The loudness of the other voices reached her ears and she looked away from his shattering face heedlessly. "And that's how you do it, fellas." She didn't know when she regained her courage to say that.

Nevertheless she said it and was surrounded by the high praise of her peers. She strutted back to her place while he gradually walked with limped posture back to his. When the crowd settled she glanced at Cameron who was already gazing at her. His gaze was far from loving. In fact it was a mixture of agony and hurt which she knew she was responsible for. She hated to see him in this state and she was sure he would start hating her too. All she ever did was hurt him even when he was so full of patience and gentleness towards her.
