Chapter 13: The fair

Torys pov
"Now put on a shirt boy I don't wanna see all that." She said while pointing to him.
She shut the door and we just looked at each other.
"Well at least she tolerates you." I said
Josh just smiled.
"Yeah she seems pretty cool."
"Anyway what do you have planned for today?" Asked josh
"Ummm I'm not sure honestly. Why what did you want to do?"
Before josh could even answer his phone rang.
He looked down at his phone and he just sent it to voicemail.
"Who was that?" I asked
"Um my mom. She's been calling me non stop since I left."
"I didn't tell her where I was going. I didn't even tell Vinnie."
"You should call her back just to tell her you're okay." I said
"I will later."
"But in the meantime let's go do something fun what's there to do around here?"
"I've only been here a few days so I'm not sure."
"Let's go to the fair. I saw one when I was coming down here, it's like 10 minutes away."
"Cool let me just get ready."
I looked in my closet and I picked out something simple and comfortable since it was kind of cold outside.

I picked out my outfit and I got ready.
"Josh are you done?" I asked
He came out of the bathroom and he was wearing basically the same thing I was.

"Looks like we're kinda matching." I just smiled.
"Come on let's go." We went downstairs and my grandma was watching her show.
"Hey granny we're going to the fair. We will be back later on."
"Okay take the car if you want. Just be safe."
"Okay. Love you!" I said as we walked out the door.
We got to the fair and we bought some tickets.
"Hey babe I want to get on the Farris wheel. I've never been on one." I said
Josh looked at me like if I was crazy.
"Are you serious?" He asked
"Well yeah. My mom never took me to these types of things. We just never had the money."
He just hugged me and kissed my forehead.
"Okay let's go."
We waited in line and then these guys just walked up to us.
"You're that YouTube girl right? Ashley I think."
"Um yeah I guess?" I said
"Damn you're even finer in person. That ass is fat as fuck. I always thought it was fake."
I just stayed quiet for a moment.
"Well it's not so."
"Let me touch it then huh." He reached for my ass and josh stepped in front of me.
"Dude just back off. Leave her alone you're being an asshole."
"And who are you her boyfriend?"
"Yeah I am actually so man please just leave us alone."
He looked at me and he just smirked.
"Fine see you later gorgeous." He smacked my ass and ran off.
"What an asshole I swear he's lucky we're in a public place with kids around."
I just hugged him.
"It's okay. I love you."
We got on a few more rides before we decided to head home. We walked to the car and the group of guys from before just followed us.
Josh stopped and he turned around.
"Fuck off Dude! You're being weird as hell following us like this."
"Come on man there's plenty to go around. I mean look at her. She's got all that."
"I'll make you a deal we all have a go at her come on man."
I started to feel uncomfortable and I could tell josh was getting mad.
Josh walked up to them and got in the guys face.
"I said leave us alone. I won't ask again."
The guy reached into his pocket and he pulled out a knife. Josh stepped back and the guy just laughed.
"Haha not so tough now huh pussy." He tried to cut josh but josh moved back. I needed to do something I just had too before things got out of hand.  He swung the knife at josh again and I just pushed the guys hand away. The knife fell to the ground and i heard someone yell
"Hey! What's going on!" The guys took off and I realized I had blood on my arm.
"Fuck Tory you're bleeding!" Said josh in shock.
He rolled up my sweater sleeve and I had a cut on my shoulder.
"Babe we need to go to the hospital."
"No I'm fine. It's okay let's just go home." I said.
We got into the car and headed home. This was by far best slash worst day of my life.
