"y/n?" charlie looked up from his book to you.
"hmm?" you hummed, your eyes fixated on the parchment as you scrawled on it.
it was yours and charlie's 7th year, the NEWTs were over and you were graduating next week.
dumbledore had decided to make the last week of school for all of the 7th years a free and easy one.
students were allowed to leave hogwarts for the day as long as they returned by curfew.
"my mum wants to know if you want to head to the burrow for dinner," charlie asked, placing a bookmark between the page to mark where he left off.
"i'd love to," you cheesed as you set your quill down.
charlie looked down at the leather watch on his wrist, 5:00pm.
"we better leave to hogsmeade soon, mum's going to floo us to the burrow."
"alright," you collected your things and placed them into your bag, slinging it over your shoulder, "let's go hun," you made grabby hands to charlie, who was still sat in his chair as he took it.
the both of you made your way back to your dorms to prepare.
"my beautiful y/n!" molly greeted with open arms as you and charlie walked hand in hand towards her.
"molly!" you gave her a tight hug.
"charlie," molly greeted as you and the older weasley pulled away.
"hi mum," he pursed a smile.
molly led the way to hogs head inn to floo home.
"it's like she bloody likes you more than me" charlie mumbled, causing a chuckle to leave your mouth.
as soon as you emerged from the fireplace, ginny and ron immediately ran up to you.
"y/n!" they exclaimed excitedly.
"hey ron! ginny!" you smiled as you bent down to embraced the two kids.
