"she's beautiful," you smiled at the baby girl in your hands.

"thank you y/n," your sister in law, fleur, thanked.

you snuggled the newborn closer to your body, rocking victorie.

"charlie, do you want to hold her?" fleur asked in her thick french accent.

"oh no thank you, i'm afraid i'd drop her," charlie shook his head furiously.

"come on babe just take a seat and i'll place her in your arms," you nodded your head towards the sofa.

"unless you don't want to be her favourite uncle?" fleur raised an eyebrow.

"okay okay fine fine," charlie gave in and sat down on the cushions.

you walked over to charlie and settled victorie into his cradled arms.

charlie chewed on his lip, you could tell he was nervous.

"look at you! you're a natural," you beamed.

charlie's face relaxed as he felt more comfortable with the baby in his arms, he had the brightest smile on his face admiring the beautiful baby girl.

you stood back and folded your arms, watching charlie hold victorie.

bill then stood next to you resting his hand on your shoulder.

"he'd make an amazing father wouldn't he?"

you played with the wedding band on your left ring finger, a warm smile evident on your face, "definitely."
