Tweak once enlisted the kids' help to cover all the walls on the Octopod with fake spiders just to see Kwazii's reaction. He wasn't happy at all, and jumped into the Captain's arms at the sight of the spiders.
When Tweak and the kids revealed themselves, they couldn't stop laughing at him, and weren't able to tell him that he'd been pranked since they couldn't stop laughing.
Kwazii got her back a week later by throwing her carrots in different locations on the Octopod and forcing her to find them with a scavenger hunt that led her into dead ends half of the time.
Siblings on the Octopod are the most likely to be pranked by guess who. It got to the point that Professor Inkling banned Pinto and Jane from reading the Anastasia and Alexei books ever again. (In real life, Anastasia threw a snowball with a rock inside it at her older sister, Tatiana. Jane thought it would be a good idea to pelt her older sisters with kelp with pieces of coral hidden inside and after reading about the time Alexei pinched dinner guests and tied their shoes together under the table for fun, Pinto had an idea. It took Peso hours to get his bandages off of his feet.
Sometimes the more "mature" adults play small tricks on each other. Including the time Dashi and Shellington wanted to splash the Captain with jelly, and nailed Professor Inkling instead. Shellington said "pranked you" a little too soon.
Every now and then, especially if someone's pranking Kwazii, Dashi and Peso would play along and help them.
