Losing Things

This is extremely commonplace on the Octopod. Everyone, and I mean everyone has done it.

The best example of this is the "Works Of Shakespeare Incident." When Shellington lost one of the rarest books Inkling owned, and it turned out to be on his chair, and Shellington had been sitting on it the whole time. 

Inkling has lost so many of his books cos someone "borrowed" them without him knowing. Squirt has earned the nickname "Book Thief" this way.

Inkling, Shellington, and Peso are getting just a "little" sick of the kids running out of their classroom to grab their textbook, pencils, homework, etc. cos they left it in their rooms.

Once when Tweak let Kwazii into the Launch Bay (once), he was playing with one of her tools, and surprise surprise, it disappeared seconds later. Tweak was so mad at him, she proceeded to teach him a lesson with her wrench not to touch her things.

If you lose any of the Vegimals' cooking utensils, they're not gonna be mad or sad, all they're gonna do is give you a hug cos they think YOU'LL feel bad, and help you find it. Once you do find it, they'll treat you like you just dumped a truckload of candy in front of them, they'll hug you, kiss you, promise to cook you a snack, etc.

Dashi and Koshi know not to give Jane anything of value or necessity, cos she will lose it the second after you give it to her. Dashi and Koshi have lost 3 books (OK that one might not have been an accident), countless pencils, 2 sets of colored pencils, and 1 microphone from lending them to her.

Pinto's the same way. Peso still cannot find his bandages from the last time he let Pinto anywhere near them.
