Everyone on the Octopod LOVES music, and have songs that they all dance and sing along to

Whenever Dashi pulls out Katy Perry or Taylor Swift, no one's a big fan of it, but they all tolerate it for her.

Kwazii and Inkling introduced the kids to 60-90s rock, and they all liked the punk stuff more than any boring old hippie band that Inkling showed them. Their guardians don't. 

Peso taught all the kids an instrument, Pinto was forced to learn xylophone, but he quit it after a month and switched to voice. Squirt learned piano from the Golden Coral when he was around 4. He branched out to electric and rock keyboard after he was on the Octopod, Jane did drums cos Dashi made her (Actually, that's how Dashi got her sisters to do anything except read and draw all day) and Koshi chose guitar from "Eeny meeny miny moe" (Kwazii taught her that)

Dashi, Peso, and Inkling were about to bite, scold, and ink Kwazii to death after they found out that it was HIM that gave the kids the sheet music for "Anarchy for the U.K."

Shellington listens to really chill music, but sometimes in secret, he listens to heavy metal and grunge, and tries to be a "bad boy" but he's really too sweet for it. "Bad Boy Shellington" disappears the second a Vegimal or kid comes in. 

I can just imagine Shellington dressed in metal clothes, and all the Vegimals playing with the metal chains hanging off of his belt and pants while he takes turns cuddling them.

A/N: Disclaimer, I am not a fan of Taylor Swift, this song just reminds me of my first act of rebellion against the status quo after I hid under the bleachers instead of standing on them to sing this song with the other kids since I thought it was dumb and I hated the other kids.
