As you know, Kwazii hates cold weather. Absolutely HATES it. Whenever it gets cold, Tweak will always teasingly pretend to turn on the AC when Dashi's gone to bed or not looking to make Kwazii mad.
It's quite common for her to call Kwazii "Drama Queen" and tell him to stop complaining about the cold whenever the temperature drops below 50 degrees Farenheit.
No one on the Octopod can decide what temperature to keep the Octopod at when it's cold. Some like the Captain or Peso and Pinto with really thick fur/feathers want to keep it at 40 degrees or whatever it is, but everyone else immediately veto it and ask them to turn it up. The Captain always keeps it higher to keep his crew warm, even if he has to wear an uncomfortable coolant so he doesn't overheat.
The first time the Vegimals saw snow was too adorable for words. They all immediately ran to go play in it, made a snowman for "Shellydo", made snow angels that they NAMED and tried to hug goodbye when they had to leave. The cuties ended up staying for doubly as long as Shellington said they'd stay for cos he couldn't say no once they kept asking for 5 more minutes. They're THAT cute.
The captain and Peso love snow and cold weather cos they're built for it. The Captain and Peso can never resist the urge to not play in snow whenever they see it. What the Captain will sometimes do is crawl on all fours in snow and let Peso ride on his back.
Peso in turn will build a snow cave for the Captain.
The kids love to have snowball fights. The only rule, no hard ice. Once Jane thought it would be a good idea to throw a chunk of hard ice at Koshi, and it ended horribly.
