Horror Movies

Sometimes on the Octopod, someone suggests watching a horror movie, and chaos descends .

They always watch them after they put Peso, the Vegimals, and the kids to bed and make sure that they're asleep so they don't see it.

But if the kids come and watch, Kwazii will happily give up watching some really gory movie he'd been waiting for months to see for some time with his, "little hearties."

If the Vegimals show up, the grown ups immediately switch the T.V. to Sesame Street.

And besides, if they watch any sort of gory movie, the Captain scolds them,
"What if Peso or one of the kids gets up?!"

Dashi has never "watched" a horror movie. She always sits in the back of the room, paws over her ears, shutting her eyes tight when it gets to the scary part. Tweak always tells her what happens after the movie ends.

Everytime they watch a movie with a jump scare, Kwazii ends up getting startled, hugs the person closest to him, and tries to play it cool saying that he was wondering if they were scared.

Whenever Peso joins him to watch a scary movie, they end up hugging each other through the whole thing.

Believe it or not, Inkling LOVES horror, loves it. He doesn't like all the modern horror that much, but he's addicted to Alfred Hitchhock's works.

There are 4 types of creatures watching horror movies on the Octopod, the people who absolutely love them, and relish every moment, (Kwazii, Tweak, and Inkling), those who are completely terrified of them, and will never watch one on their own, (Dashi, the Vegimals, and Peso), and those who don't really see the big deal, and just think it's just a bunch of money wasted on fake blood and organs, (Barnacles and Shellington).
