Sometimes, however capable of a medic Peso is, there are some things he just can't take care of.
Dental care, for example. Peso is all too capable of doing it himself. He's just too soft to poke around someone's mouth with a sharp object, and no one has any desire to chase the kids and Kwazii down, force them down on one of the Sick Bay beds, and ask them over and over again to hold still.
Kinda unrelated: Whenever Peso finishes a check-up for someone, they always get a sticker for "being such a good patient", even if Kwazii did run away when Peso asked him very very politely to give him a shot. (Peso lured him from off of Tweak's tool cabinet by promising him a sticker).
Going to the dentist's is always a disaster. Pinto once had to have a tooth pulled cos it was in the way of 2 of his adult teeth, and once he got back with his beak sore, all the Vegimals swarmed around him trying to make him feel better and kissing him all better, bringing him pudding, etc.
