When it's around Halloween time, the adults decide whether or not they want to go to a coastal town for trick-or-treat or have one on the Octopod.
One year, Tweak gave the kids a whole bag of candy and a bigger bag of spiders. They could have the candy if they covered Kwazii's room with spiders.
The Vegimals always go! ALWAYS! One year, they went as "polar bears". They just looked like little bundles of white fluff trying to make scary growling noises and following the Captain around everywhere.
Even when the kids decided they were too old for it, they still followed the Vegimals around everywhere to watch them.
The Vegimals are amazing about sharing candy with others, and each of them WILLINGLY give up a quarter of their candy so they can make goody bags for everyone else.
They know EVERYONE'S favorites, and set aside some of their favorites for them.
Everyone decorates for it, no questions asked.
Spider decorations are banned for obvious reasons.

Every single Halloween, Kwazii insists on a "provocative horror night" meaning that he picks a horror movie/show to watch that's been considered controversial for some reason or another.
Usually, the movies in question involve a lot of "it", and the other adults say no, because you can never be sure if one of the kids are gonna wake up, and sneak in to watch it.
The adults tried to have a horror movie night for the kids and Vegimals, but the Vegimals got scared of The Gremlins, so that was the end of that.
