Forgetting and Memory

Everyone on the Octopod forgets some things easier than they do others. 

One thing everyone wishes they could forget is the time Kwazii got ahold of Tweak's welder, and proceeded to weld Tweak's screwdriver to her tool box. She was furious, and nearly clobbered him to death after she found out.

What everyone DOESN'T remember is any important shred of information ever.

Shellington keeps forgetting to collect the kids homework, ALWAYS. He has gone one week without collecting homework.

Whenever you tell one of the kids to do something, especially the younger two, don't expect them to do it first time, more like the 4th, 5th, never...

The Captain has forgotten so many times to eat or sleep when one of his crew or children was sick or injured, and would stay with them in the Sick Bay all night until Peso made him sleep or eat something.

Peso often says he's going to tell Dashi or Inkling if one of the other kids does something, or he says he's gonna punish Pinto, promptly forgets, and they're not stupid enough to tell him.

Kwazii forgets everything. EVERYTHING. The Vegimals' names, what he was supposed to do with the Gup B, that he offered to babysit, etc.

The Vegimals are tasked with learning how to recite the alphabet and how to do math. They forget pretty easily. You'll usually know when one of them forgot something, because they'll immediately stop trying to recite or do math, run up to you, hug your legs, and beg for help. 

It usually takes quite some time to get the Vegimals to remember something. At this point, people are used to walking in on Shellington sleeping in a rocking chair with a book and one of the cute little Vegimals in his lap. 

Inkling's got the best memory of anyone on the Octopod, and is the only person who hasn't called any of the siblings by the wrong name.
