Waking Up

Waking everyone up on the Octopod is always a challenge, since there are so many people, and the majority of them don't want to be awake.

It's usually up to Daddy Barnacles, Grandpa Inkling, and the Baby Vegimals to wake everyone up, and they all simultaneously love and hate the task.

Barnacles is more gentle with everyone, and will just sit himself down on someone's bed, gently shake them awake, and whisper a sweet good morning.

If anyone refuses to get up, He'll pick them up in his big furry strong arms and swing them around gently, rock them, bounce them up and down, and tickle them gently until they did.

The Vegimals will show up at your door with breakfast, and will just climb onto your bed, hug  you, pat your face, and kiss you till you wake up, and there's no way anyone can be grumpy with them, even Tweak.

Inkling will just calmly barge into your room, and wake you up some gentle shaking and him calling out your name going, "Time to get up." 

He's a gentleman, so he isn't going to barge into a lady's room. He refuses to go into the Launch Bay and Dashi's room on account of this rule, so what he does is have Squirt thump the HQ floor and yell "Get up!" at Tweak while he goes up to Dashi's room.

Whoever gets up first will usually help him wake everyone else up.

The Captain will often wake up to Kwazii do whatever from sleep-talking to leaping all around his room screaming, and he considers this normal

Kwazii will wake up anytime from 5 AM to 10 AM. His sleep schedule is about as unpredictable as he is 

Tweak will never wake up anytime before 8 AM. If you try to wake her before that time with no good reason, she will murder you.

Inkling will wake up VERY early to read, and will try to be as quiet as possible so he doesn't wake Squirt.

Getting up in Dashi's room is utter chaos. Dashi will get up at around 5 AM, and Jane's idea of a joke is to play the loudest song she knows on Dashi's headphones to wake her up.

Peso is usually the first one up in his room, and will gently wrap his flippers around Pinto and give him a sweet kiss when Pinto needs to wake up. 

Waking Shellington up is impossible. Just impossible. He has once drifted into a storm while asleep and didn't wake up (Urchin Invasion). Normally, whenever someone tries to wake him, they have to scream his name at him. They hate waking him up cos they'll usually scare him, and no one wants to yell at Shellington.

Every single day, the Vegimals will wake up super early to leave a drawing outside everyone's room. They're that sweet.
