4x14 Down the Rabbit Hole

Bonnie walks between Kalani and Jeremy with Shane and the random forest warrior as she turns to the blonde girl. "Hope you're not waiting for Kalani to do something about this cause she can't," Shane explains. "What are you talking about?" Jeremy asks facing Kalani too to see the girl picking at her nails.

"Well, I am a doctor and I've been watching her and her favorite. She has drastic mood swings, raging anger, anxiety, and euphoria, and general discontent. The way she picks at her nails, the fact that Damon has to help her eat and his watch is always set and every month he heads over to the pharmacy to get antipsychotics to help with her struggle," Silas explains.

"Struggle?" Bonnie questions. "The struggle that of the Petrova bloodline. The same struggle Katherine and Isobel go through and even Elena. Bipolar is a bitch," Shane says and Kalani looks up at him but she doesn't say anything as they keep walking.

Soon she's sitting on a rock watching Bonnie and Jeremy perform a strange ritual that involves Jeremy's shirt being off. Rocks start falling from above and Kalani reaches for Bonnie. When the dust settles she's standing with Bonnie and Jeremy before turning to see a rock on Shane's leg. "I think my leg is broken. Help me," he says and Kalani faces him. "That looks like it stings like a bitch," Kalani says before walking away with Jeremy and Bonnie.

"Are you okay?" Bonnie asks as Kalani places her arms behind her back. "I'm good," Kalani says picking at her skin before she turns to see her mother. "Mom," she says as Jeremy and Bonnie face her. "Kalani. You're here. You've grown so much," Gail says reaching for the girl's hand. "Kalani, she isn't really here," Jeremy speaks up. "I missed you," Kalani says as the woman hugs her.

"Kalani, it's not real. It's a hallucination. She's not here," Bonnie says pulling Kalani to her. "But im here. I'm real. Focus on me," Bonnie says placing her hand on Kalani's cheek. "But," Kalani says turning but her mom isn't there anymore. "It was Silas. He's trying to control you. Take my hand," Bonnie says and Kalani takes the girl's hand before pulling her away with Jeremy as Kalani looks back to find the woman who isn't there anymore.

Kalani feels like she's going insane as she hears her parents call for her. She hers Adelaide and Alex too. She wants to scream. When they get to where the cure is it is in Silas' grip and none of them can remove it. "The only way to remove it is to wake Silas," Bonnie says looking at the two.

"We can't do that," Kalani says before she feels a wooden bullet move through her body with a wooden bomb-like object following behind.
