After that night, I was never the same. They put my mother into a deep sleep to help her heal. And I ended up going home with my father and step mom. I end up sharing a room with my sister for tonight until they can get the other spare room up and going for me to stay.
That night, this unbelievable night, was on the next top of worse things in my life. Thought not having a father was the top but once he became a thing in my life, I get something else taken from me. Its like god was punishing me or something.
I fell asleep in my sisters arms, after crying for what seems forever. I woken up many times in the night, crying for my mommy but she was never there. Carlie, my sister, she may been 4 years older than me, but knew how to help me. Her mother would come in and check on us after me waking up screaming and the same with our father.
But it was never the same.
Days, weeks, months until we had heard something about my mother. They got the bleeding to slow down but even in what they have her in, isn't good enough. My father done what he could to help my mother. Money wasn't the issue with him but it was an issue when it wasn't helping to fix her. They couldn't find anything else to help her. So by the 6 months of her being in a coma, my father had brought me back to the hospital to say my goodbyes.
And to make this even more worse for me, it was my 10th birthday that they were pulling the plug on her. It couldn't be no worse than this.
As all her friends and family came to say goodbye to her, we all sat around her bed and took talking about the good times with her.

"What about her stores?" Kylie had asked.
"They go to her daughter, they're hers." My father had said. "But not til she's 18 years old. Her mother made sure of that. But for the time being, my wife, Cynthia is gonna run them."
Cynthia looked over at me and smiled a little then back to my father. "I am willing to do that for Carrie and Rosey."
"Are you sure?" My grandfather had asked her.
"Yes, anything for my sweet Rosey." Cynthia said.
"What about her house?" My grandma asked as well.
"It's Rose's house as well. Once she gets old enough she can move in there and start her life. Have a family of her own." My father said. "Its already been paid for in full. The bank can't take it over no one can other myself and Rose."
"And everything in it that's Carrie's?"
"All Rose's. Everything that Carrie owned goes to her daughter. Until she's 18, she can do whatever she wants with it afterwards." My father had told them.

After all of that, knowing everything was mine. I didn't know what to do with it all. I wasn't gonna sell anything, I wouldn't do that to my mother. She worked so damn hard to get what she got and where she got. Owes 4 stores, two here in town and two back in Jersey.
The moment when the doctor came in and faced us all, telling us all that it was time to pull the plug and see where this goes. I sat in my fathers lap, holding him not wanting to see this but had to. He looked down at me for a moment then kissed my head.

"Pull it." He said, choking on those words.

I held my breath after that and waited to hear the beating end. When I heard the beeping of pushing buttons then the last one, I closed my eyes and waited. For a few minutes I kept hearing the beeping of my mother being alive. When I took a breath and looked, she was still alive. But within seconds, I heard the noise I didn't want to hear. I looked at the machine and where her heart was showing it was flat.
Just then I knew she was gone. I screamed, probably making everyone jump in the hospital. I went to jump and over over to her but my father grabbed ahold of me and held me in his arms, crying as well. We all were, but I think I lost it more then them.
The day, I lost my way.
From here forth, I wasn't gonna be the same. Not after I lost the one and only, thing in my life that I loved the most. My mother. I was here reason for living, she shouldn't have left me because now I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself.
All by myself.....
