Chapter One

Avi's POV

I was walking from Starbucks, getting coffee for everyone. I was walking as one does on a normal day. When I saw someone sitting on the curb, jamming out to either a song in their head or a song they were singing. I was too far away to hear it, but I noticed the girl. I decide to go and tell the others about her before I come back and help her out or anything. Plus, my hands are full of hot coffee cups from Starbucks. If I wanted to help her, I wouldn't be able to at the moment anyways!

Scott's POV

Avi came home with our coffees and went back out the door with a jacket. He left before I could ask where he was going or anything like that. He must have been too deep in thought to respond to me.

"Where did Avi go?" Kirstie asked, walking up to me.

I just shrugged. I wasn't lying either. I truly didn't know where Avi was.

Kirstie and Avi had gotten into some difficulties with their relationship last week and Kirstie thinks Avi is still shutting her out. I've never seen her so upset when Avi started shutting her out. In fact, he started shutting everyone out. I was confused. What does Avi have against us?
