Chloe's POV

I just got that foreign girl's number. I don't really remember much because I was just too blinded by how pretty she was and the fact that I had to translate for everybody. I remember her friend whispering to me that Lacey was a bisexual like me and that she liked me a little. That's when I stopped hearing important stuff around me. My world art just blurred at the fact that Lacey could text me any second.

But what if I had to text first? What would I say? Shoot, what to say... what to say...

"How about hi?" Kirstie said, walking over to me and sitting next to me on my bed.

"Oh, I was saying that out loud?" I asked, blushing. Kirstie nodded.

I picked up my phone and typed in "Hola Lacey!"

I got an immediate response.

"¿Casa tú?" She texted.

Chloe💋: Si, yo es casa (Yes, I am home)

Lacey🇪🇸: ¿Starbucks fecha? (Starbucks date?)

Chloe💋: Si!! 😊 (Yes!! 😊)

Lacey🇪🇸: ¿11am tmrw?

Chloe💋: 👌OK

Lacey🇪🇸: ¡Yo estudio Ingles! (I'm studying English!)

Chloe💋: 😄

Lacey🇪🇸: I don't know much English, but I'm getting there.

Chloe💋: You're doing great do far!

Lacey🇪🇸: So Starbucks at 11 tomorrow morning?

Chloe💋: Yep! See you there!

I turned off my phone and squealed, throwing it across the bed. It almost fell off, but luckily, Kirstie was eavesdropping on my text conversation.

"Coffee date at 11 am tomorrow?!" She said. I nodded with a confused look on my face. I was unsure of if she was going to criticize it or congratulate me.
"Chloe that's amazing!"

Phew, no criticism. Criticism from Kirstie is not harsh, but hard to avoid.

"What should I wear?" I asked her.

She put a devilish grin on her face and started rummaging through my clothing.

"This," she said, putting a pastel salmon colored crop top with black polka dots on it on the bed. Then she grabbed some blak skinny jeans and put then next to the blouse. She then tossed my black flats onto the bed. "wear this tomorrow morning," she stood there, waiting for my approval.

"I honestly love it," I told her. Then I hugged her. "your a life saver." I was talking into her hood, belonging to her oversized sweater.

After the hug, she left my room. Time to go to sleep... well, stay on my phone until 3 am.

Tomorrow I had a date. Something I haven't had in a while lately. And I was, in fact, nervous.

Lacey's POV
(Next Day)

It was 10:50, but I still decided to get to Starbucks. Since I've seen Chloe's tweets, I know what kind of coffee she likes. I decided to get it and wait at the table where I met her for the first time; in the corner.

I don't know why, but my hands got all sweaty and clammy. I was definantly nervous, but I didn't know why. Like, c'mon Lacey, you've been on a date before!

Suddenly, Chloe came in to Starbucks and sat with me. I know this is normal, but I was still extremely nervous.

I mean, I was on a date. Something I hadn't done in a while. And here I am, having coffee with a celeb.

I have a right to be nervous.

==========================

Hi... that's it.

Wrote this at night and forgot to publish it because I fell asleep.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to study for an important test graded by the government and do my homework...

Bye!
