"Will you come live with me?" San suddenly asked.

"What the hell?!"

"Listen to me...you don't have a home...and I'm lonely at my home...we can complete each other."

"Have you gone mad?!" Wooyoung moved away.

"We can just try!"

"You're really trying to make me your boyfriend's clone!"

"I'm not!" San sighed. "Listen...take your time to think about it...don't rush yourself."

"Even after ten years, my answer will be no."

"You wanna stay on the streets then?"

"Better than living as someone I'm not."

"Fine..." San muttered. "I should go, it's getting late."

"Sure, goodnight."

San left with a disappointed sigh. "What was I thinking..."

But he still came back the night after.

It was like nothing could stop him from seeing Wooyoung.

"I brought dinner..."

Wooyoung immediately recognized the voice.

"I wish I had that determination of yours."

San chuckled and sat down. "I know, I'm pretty stubborn."

"What did you bring?"

"Pizza."

"Thanks...you're spending a lot on me..."

"Not really...this has become my favorite part of the day."

Wooyoung smiled. "You're weird."

San opened the pizza box and handed the other a slice. "Enjoy."

Wooyoung ate the slice slowly, his mind wandering into thoughts he never wanted.

He felt like he was trusting San too much. His behavior is very alarming to him and could always mean he's onto something bad.

But Wooyoung still let him in.

He didn't like trusting people at all. They all have bad intentions.

"You never told me..."

"Hm?" San looked at the other in interest.

"How ugly are my eyes?"

San smiled, putting his slice down. "Why do you think they're ugly?"

"I already told you...they're deformed..."

"They're not."

"What? But the other guys-"

"They lied to you then." San cut him off.

"What...?"

"Your eyes look perfectly fine...there's a scar above your right eye but that's about it."

"Those bastards..." Wooyoung muttered. "They just wanted me to be insecure..."

"Maybe...because...your eyes look pretty to me.."

Wooyoung gulped. "Stop being weird..."

San chuckled. "How come you've never touched your eyes?"

"I was scared...even when I go to wash up...I'm scared to touch them..."

"You don't even need to wear sunglasses."

Wooyoung sighed, taking the sunglasses off.
"Alright...but don't try to flirt."

San laughed. "I'm sorry."

He looked at the other and felt his heart rate going up as he watched him hesitantly touch his eyes and examine them.

It was the first time he felt that his heart is alive in a while.

It's beating.

"Why are you not saying anything?"

"Sorry." San cleared his throat.

"You never told me about yourself."

"Oh, me? There's nothing interesting...I'm a florist, I live alone...I have been ever since my boyfriend passed away...still not over him, I'm sure you can tell. I barely have friends and I very rarely go out to do anything other than work...and now coming to eat dinner with you."

"You're a florist...is this why you kept yelling at me like an old lady for selling dead roses?"

San chuckled. "I couldn't stand it..." he fidgeted with the necklace. "Roses hold a special place in my heart..."

Wooyoung hummed. "Were they his favorite?"

San smiled sadly. "You're smart."

"Not really, it's just obvious."

"He told me to move on and live happily...but I could never...I don't know how."

"You will if you let go."

San turned to look at him. "Let go?"

"You seem to be clinging to the past...you just told me that you've been put on autopilot for the past year, just crossing days off the calendar...you can never move on like this...you can't be like this and expect time to just heal you...you have to heal yourself first."

San's eyes filled with tears but he fought them. "Wow...look at you being all wise."

Wooyoung smiled. "It's true though...And you know then he'll be proud and not disappointed."

San smiled with admiration. "Thank you..."

"You're welcome, now can you leave? I'm tired."

San laughed and got up. "Of course, I'm sorry...I'll see you tomorrow."

Wooyoung just hummed and laid down the ground.

San stood there watching him, it was heartbreaking to see someone like him sleep on the streets like that. He deserved a warm home like everyone else.

"I know you're still here." Wooyoung announced, making the other jump.

"S-Sorry...goodnight!" He turned and quickly left.

He knew he wanted to help this guy.

But how?

"I know how...and I'll do it."
