chapter twenty three

Two days to graduation and I was currently at Maya's house. I didn't suppose to leave my guests who came for the graduation in my house but I can't help it because Maya forced me to spend the remaining two days at her house so that we can shop for necessary things

"I love the purple gown" I told Maya taking it from its hanger

"Well I will go with the green one" Maya said picking exactly the same dress as me only that the colours are different and we put the both gowns in the shopping basket.

We picked the same clutch bag and the same shoes. We bought wrapping paper for the gifts, hair clips,perfumes, dresses and other fashion things except make up stuffs

Maya paid with her credit card. Too bad I don't have credit card I would have decided to pay for my own stuff. Not that I don't have it,but my dad is always with it and I don't know why.

We went back to her house,prayed and eat. We played video games most of which I lost cos I don't know how to play it.

As Maya was in the process of winning me for the 60th time,a knock came in and I answered.

"Coming" I said standing up to get the door

"Habibaaa" I shouted as soon as I opened the door

We hugged and Maya joined.

"Congratulations in advance girls" Habiba said and we said thank you. The maid bought food and water for her but she drank only the water

"Who wants to go swimming" Maya suggested and Habiba gasped

"What?" Maya and I asked at the same time.

"That's exactly,I mean exactly what I wanted to say"Habiba said and I laughed

"I told you I'm a mind reader"Maya said in a proud tune and Habiba eyed her

"Ok let's go then"Habiba said and we stood up

I am very scared of swimming even though I have never swim before.

"Ehn,I don't have a swimsuit" I said nervously hoping they let me be

"I have five. You can take anyone" Maya said looking at me

Shit

"What?" Habiba asked

Did I said that loud?

"Nothing let's go" I said with a fake smile and we went to Maya's room.

"What if someone come in here and see us half naked?" I said still hoping they should change their minds as we approached the swimming pool wearing our swim suits

"Duhh!no one is in here. My dad is out. The maids have went home except two and they are girrlsss so its basically five girls in this whole house now" Maya explained rolling her eyes

"What of the gate man?" I asked again

"Wait what's your problem? He won't dare step across his boundaries" Habiba said giving me murderous look

Habiba flied inside the pool and Maya followed. I just stood there deciding whether to kill myself by entering the water or let me wait for God to kill me

"Aren't you entering?" Habiba asked

"No enjoy" I said smiling nervously

"Oh come on" habiba exclaimed coming out of the water. I didn't know when she pushed me inside

"Oh...my..God" I said bubbling with the water as I struggled to swim

"I'm go..going to...die....help....me....I'm  scared....of water.....mummyyy....help meeee" I shouted as I felt my breath seizing.
