a/n: HAPPY HALLOWEEN MY LOVES if you are lgbtq+ like myself then surely you must love halloween

no bc it started raining while i was trick or treating and i told my mom we can go now bc my basket was half full and i felt bad she didnt have a hood on her jacket

AND SHE WAS LIKE NO IT'S NOT ENOUGH so i ended up with an overflowing basket :D

Noel had finally figured out how he was going to ask Callum to marry him.

Wait, what? No. How he was going to ask Callum to the dance thing. 

...same difference, anyhow.

noel <3: yo

callum :D: ?

noel <3: are you going to go trick-or-treating?

callum :D: yeah

noel <3: wanna go with me :)

noel <3: my neighborhood has a ton of old people who will give you more or less candy based on how youre dressed and what you say

noel <3: what're you going to dress up as?

callum :D: um

callum :D: it's embarrassing

noel <3: pleaseeeee :)))))))))

callum :D: i'm gonna be a knight

callum :D: IF YOU LAUGH I'LL RIP YOUR FACE OFF

noel <3: Hey that's not embarrassing! i'm gonna be a prince so thats kinda funny actually :)

callum :D: really?

noel <3: yeah :D

Step one of the plan: complete. The truth was that he hadn't had anything specific in mind, just wanting to match with Callum. That was a little creepy, in hindsight.

Noel didn't really care though.

Step two was Halloween night. Noel had collected his costume, which he actually quite liked.

A kind of cream-colored or off-white ruffled dress shirt tucked into black dress pants with black combat boots. And of course, his signature Ranboo crown.

Noel showed up at Callum's door dressed like this. Callum opened the door wearing a simple black shirt and pants.

"Hey!" Callum waved Noel in somewhat awkwardly, twiddling his thumbs. "Um, you can go wait for me in the kitchen. Claire and Garrett will probably try to feed you. I'll go get dressed."
