I've spoken to the dead more than once
I've dipped into my future just to see
I've dealt with spirits to know my legacy
Oh what divine luxury I've seen
All the riches a man could want
A waltz down the hall of greats
Books that bring tears to the eyes of the masses
I've seen divinity
Riches and gold and happiness beyond belief
At first I was so full of myself
Now I'm simply so proud of my achievements
Every chapter I post
Every original story that hasn't seen light
I'm so excited for all I can do
There's no shame in your own pride
I was running from monsters my whole life
My living situation is less than desirable
My job pays me for less than my worth
My school looks down upon my appearance
Never once have I let my soul burn
Never once have I given up on myself
Never once have I let myself fall
I know in my heart I have a gift
For I can write until my hands hurt
I can write until my heart sings
I can write until my eyes fall shut
I can write until my death
I love to write
There's nothing else to say
It's my very pride and joy
I feel the happiest when I write
