Bible Verses

I've turned the countless suicide letters into endless, seamless, undoubtedly beautiful scriptures
Verses I pray to like bibles and Gods
Because I did not write those letters

Those letters were scribbled in the ink of a man who was ready to die
So I killed him
And he cried, and I cried harder
And I fell to my knees a sobbed a prayer, for I was going to live

Suicide letters like bible verses and repentance
Writing words of madness from fingertips dipped in gasoline
Each letter a new set-in-stone reminder that I was there
Paper made of skin and ink made of blood
And everyday I pray to those suicide letters like a lamb to the slaughter
Like a moth to a flame
