It is not enough to simply breathe air
I must know why oxygen is life
I must ask why humans are perfectly built for living
I need to know why we breathe
To ask why is to be enlightened
Bring me that knowledge, wisdom that breathes creativity into days
It is not enough to simply accept, I must know why
If I were born in the enlightenment era I'd have enlightened to world with knowledge
It is not enough to stare to the sky
Those stars, man cannot touch
I must hold them in my hands one day
I must hold a star and breathe it's beauty
It is not enough to look toward the sun
I must know why it's there, why we're here
Why we breathe and think nothing of it
Why are humans natures anomaly
It is not enough to academically shine
I care not for letters or numbers signifying my worth
I care for the why, for the creation, for life as a whole
I must know why I crave creation
It is not enough to simply breathe
I must know why, I must ask why
I want that enlightenment
I couldn't die not knowing why
