Y/N POV
I walk over to Sam and he flicks the lever to lower the lava again. I made sure to put on an annoyed angry face so Sam wouldn't suspect.
"What happened in there?" Sam asks.
"I don't want to talk about it," I say.
Sam and I walk down the passageways for a while until I came up with a good lie to tell.
When we reach the main entrance I sigh and lean on the desk.
"Are you okay?" Sam asks, sounding genuinely concerned.
I breathe in slowly.
"Dream tried to manipulate me," I lie. "He told me that he can give me what I want. He says he can give me all the resources I want if I help him escape. I told him that he deserves to be in here but he said that Tommy was the one who belonged in here. Tommy was who the prison was built for."
"I'm sorry," Sam says sympathetically. "I'll go have a word with him."
"I tried to be nice to him. I gave him water to bathe and clean water to drink. I want to see if he would be different but he wasn't. I feel like human contact just gives him someone to toy with. I don't think talking to him will do anything. It might be worse for him if you don't."
"You're right," Sam says. "Well, have a good day I guess."
"You too Sam," I say. "Don't push yourself too hard."
"I'll try not to," he says with a smile.
I exit the prison and dump the filthy water into the river. The river will be a problem when breaking in, it needs to be drained.
I travel through the nether, thinking about how this will go down. It will either work out perfectly or we're all going to get caught. I just need to visit the prison a bit more and get Sam to trust me. I need to distract him and the rest I will leave up to them. I'll contact them tomorrow.
Sam POV
Wow Y/N was really nice to me. She cared about me like no one else has.
Okay, maybe not.
Ponk.
She hates Dream and seems to be the least likely to break him out. I feel like I can trust her.
Plus, she is really pretty.
