Dream POV
The minute I wake up, I immediately feel around on the bed for Y/N but I don't feel her anywhere. I open my eyes and there's an indent where she was sleeping but she's not here. She's always been in bed with me the past month but where is she now?
"Morning," her voice says, coming out of the bathroom.
She's wearing her armor and belt and holds a pile of green clothing.
"Try this on," she tosses the bundle of clothing at me. I clumsily catch it as I rub the tiredness out of my eyes.
"Okay."
I slip out of bed and take off my clothes. The outfit is a white T-Shirt, a lime green pullover hoodie with a black smiley face, blue jeans, white socks, and my netherite boots.
"Feels comfortable," I say.
"Wait, I forgot these," she says holding up a lime green cloak with gold fastenings and my crown.
She leads me over to the mirror and fastens the cloak at my throat. Her hands drift lightly down my chest and I feel butterflies in my stomach. She places the gold crown on my blonde hair and smiles.
She helps me into my armor, fastening the chest plate, arm pads, and leg pads under the cloak. I place the belt around my waist and stuck the sword and axe in the sheaths.
"You're so hot."
"And you're so pretty," I say picking her up and throwing her onto the bed.
"Ready for your first day?" she asks with a giggle.
"You bet! Race you to the throne room!"
I take off first running down the stairs until I skid into the throne room with Y/N right on me.
I settle on the throne and she looks up at me. I stretch out and rest my arms on the armrests cleaning my head against the back.
"Feels right," I say.
She bows to me with a smile.
"Should I get your knights so you can make it official?"
"Yes, all those who fought with us from the beginning. Sapnap, George, Punz, Bad, Skeppy, Ant, Sam, HBomb, and Eret."
She nods and walks off. Callahan enters and stands to my left next to the podium.
A few minutes later, Y/N comes back but this time with all of the following.
"What is it Dream?" Sapnap asks.
Y/N stands on the podium beside the throne and places her hand on mine.
I stand up and address the soon-to-be knights.
"The kingdom will need defenders to protect against attackers like what happened yesterday. I would like to appoint all of you to knights of the kingdom. I will call meetings every once in a while to discuss matters, we will meet in the meeting room on the second floor above the throne room. Any objections?"
They all shake their heads.
"Good. All of you are knights of the Dream Smp. You are all of the same ranks and none of you are above each other. You are all equal. Are we clear?"
They nod.
"Dismissed," I say.
They all bow and leave the throne room.
They've already stayed at the castle last night so it makes sense for them to be knights.
"How was that?" I ask.
"Perfect," Y/N smiles back at me. "You sounded very professional and authoritative."
"That was the point."
"Do you want to go horseback riding?" she asks.
"Sure. Where are we going?"
"I know a place."
Half an hour later, we're riding across plains and forests until we reach a snowy biome. I pull Spirit's reins to stop her.
"Techno's cabin?" I ask, squinting through the falling snow.
"Yes, I thought we should pay him a visit," Y/N says.
We ride up to the door and leave our horses in the stable.
She knocks on the door and waits.
Techno opens it looking suspicious but relaxes when he sees her.
"Y/N!"
"Techno!"
They hug and I feel a slight sting of jealousy.
"Come in," he says waving us inside.
"Anything I can do for you?" he asks once we're inside.
"I just wanted to pay you a visit since so haven't seen you since the party."
"That was yesterday," he laughs.
"I know but I wanted to make sure that you were okay with what happened and all. How's Wilbur doing?"
Techno's face falls and he glances out a window.
"Wilbur is here. He's sleeping upstairs. Crying non-stop. Actually, can I talk to Dream alone?"
"Sure," she says and walks outside, closing the door.
Once Techno and I are alone, he walks around the room and looks at the loadstone in the corner.
"Dream, I know that my favor to you is done and that we're not in very close contact but I miss Phil, he sacrificed himself for Wilbur and I don't want him to suffer in limbo the way Wilbur did. Please bring him back."
Techno's crying, tears falling down his face.
Should I ask for something from him? I don't want to ask for a favor but could I ask for a secret?
I open my mouth is negotiate but I hear Y/N pounding on the door.
"Techno! Dream! Get out here now! There's something you should see!"
We both open the door and find her standing out there in the snow.
"What?" Techno asks.
She points at a figure standing outside in the cold. Lightly dusted in snow and staring open-mouthed at Techno.
"No, it can't be..." Techno starts forward and stops.
"Phil?!"
