The last thing I remember is telling Dream I love him. I hope he can revive me, if not, then he and I will be alone.
Everything is dark, this must be how Phil felt when he died. I sit there for hours, waiting.
"Y/N."
"Kristin?"
"Yes, I'm here."
She materializes out of the darkness. She looks sadder and more anxious than usual.
"Dream's trying to revive you," she informs me. "If he succeeds, you'll be back in the mortal world and he'll unlock new powers from the revival book. If he fails, DreamXD will release his anger and wrath onto the world."
"Why?" I ask
"He's angry and needs someone to blame it onto."
I sigh staring into the dark abyss.
"I hope he doesn't fail then."

Dream POV
I hold the revival book open with one hand on the right page, fingering the gold letters. My other hand resting on her chest, still and cold.
I read the incantation, making sure to say everything correctly. One false word and it possibly could explode.
The totem on the book glows.
I've never revived someone using the book directly, I've only done it from memory. Is it supposed to glow?
The glow then pulses through my arm and through Y/N.
Silence.
I wait anxiously.
The world holds its breath.
I feel the jump of a pulse and a breath that warms my fingers. Her eyes flutter open.
"I knew you could do it," she smiles.
I collapse on top of her, kissing her. She kisses back. We stay there for a few minutes just kissing and hugging each other, never wanting to let go again.
"Death can't tear us apart," I say through tears.
I glance at the revival book, new words are spilling out onto the pages.
I grab the book and shove it into my hoodie pocket as we glance around.
"So they're all dead?" she asks.
"Yeah, they'll never be a threat again."
"Good."
We sit on the grass, watching the sunset. The yellow sun slips below the horizon, and the red, orange, and the pink sky fades slowly into purple and blue.
Sapnap and George crash through the trees.
"Hey Dream, a huge explosion went off in the village and—" Sapnap stops and stares at the bodies of Tommy, Tubbo, Fundy, and Jack lying on the ground.
"What happened?" George asks.
"We killed Tommy and the rest of them. They set off the bomb," Y/N explains.
"Oh, well the citizens are recovering from the explosion. No one was seriously injured but there was some property damage," Sapnap reports.
"Thanks, Sap," I say. "We'll head back to the castle and get some rest, I'll help them out tomorrow."
They both nod and walk back to the castle.
I grab Y/N and pull her against me in a hug.
"Never do that again," I whisper.
"What?"
"Let yourself be killed for me."
"Hmmm, I'll try."
I gaze deeply into her Y/E/C eyes. She stares back into my emerald green ones. The falling rays of the sunset cast an orange glow on our faces.
Our lips touch, just as the sky darkens and the moon slips high overhead.

3rd Person Omniscient POV
DreamXD watches the successful revival.
He was able to do it after all. I think that deserves a reward. They'll be together forever.
"DreamXD," Kristin appears behind him.
"Yes?"
"I guess you were right, they love each other enough to sacrifice, and revive."
"I always am."
The two gods stare down at the world below them, the people working on the village structures.
"I have a feeling," Kristin says quietly. "That Dream and Y/N will be the best King and Queen."
DreamXD smiles under his mask.
"I have no doubts, I know they'll rule the kingdom side by side, helping each other, and always rule with kindness, respect, and fairness."

3 Months later
"I'm so nervous!" Y/N stands in front of the mirror in her wedding dress. Niki, Puffy, and Hannah all admire it.

This is what I imagine the dress to look like but you can always imagine your own. After all, it is your story and your wedding :)
"You'll be great!" Hannah says reassuringly looking fabulous in her (Color you want the bridesmaid dresses to be) bridesmaid dress.
"I've known Dream for over a year, yet it feels like I'm meeting him for the first time."
"I think you and Dream are overthinking this," Niki says smoothing out the lace. "Your love will carry you through."
"Remember to throw the bouquet at the end," Puffy reminds her. "So one of us can be the next bride."
The girls laugh.
"Y/N?" Sam appears in the doorway in a dark green suit and matching tie.
"Yes, I'm ready."
"Your groom awaits you," he says taking her hand gently and leading her down the hall.
"You know," she says as they walk. "A year ago, I was playing you like a card to break Dream out. Now, look where we are."
Sam laughs.
"No one would have predicted this. I don't think he would have changed this easily if it weren't for you. You were the one who changed his heart."
