Sam POV
I sit there in my bed crying as I've done for the past few weeks.
I've lost everything. My country, the prison, my power, and the only person who actually cared about me left me.
"What am I supposed to do?" I ask aloud.
Fran barks loudly demanding to be fed.
"Not now Fran."
Fran wines and settles on the floor.
I hear knocking on the door.
"Go away," I say.
The redstone door opens and I turn over to see the figure in the doorway.
"Y/N?" I ask.
"Yes it's me," her voice says. She slowly steps out of the shadows.
"Where have you been?" I ask trying to get out of bed but I haven't in weeks and I fall.
"Woah," she says, jumping to catch me.
"Let me give you some food first and then I'll explain."
She lifts me back onto the bed and gives me some pieces of steak from her belt.
Fran wakes up at the smell of the meat and begs at her feet.
"Awwwww! Here you go Fran."
She tosses a piece of meat to Fran who gulps it down quickly. Y/N gently pats his head before stands up to lol at me once again.
"So where have you been?" I ask.
She takes a deep breath.
"Quackity was right, I did help Dream escape."
"What?!"
"Listen Sam. I planned this for a long time. I wanted to break him out months ago. I'm sorry but I invited you on the date to get you drunk and steal one of the key sets. I needed to."
"So you didn't feel anything between us?" I say, my heart shattering all over again.
"I wouldn't be here otherwise. I did feel something for you but I needed to get the mission done. I had allies helping me and they couldn't wait. I watched you get kicked out of Las Nevadas and I did feel sad. I felt guilty for getting you drunk and using you."
"Why would you do this?"
"I needed to use you since you were the warden. Now, Las Nevadas is going to war with Snowchester and they're both ready to fight. I remember you're still part of the Badlands and that you formed Team Chaos with Dream and Techno. Dream, George, Sapnap, Punz, the Badlands. Eret, HBomb, Techno, and Phil are all banding together to fight in this war. Our goal, to kill Quackity. Snowchester and Las Nevadas will be fighting while we'll join in the fighting as well. We'll be fighting Las Nevadas but we're not fighting for Snowchester. The war is going to be between three sides. Are you in?"
"Wait you confess to me you used me on our date and never loved me and then you ask me to join your side and fight my country?"
She laughs.
"Two things, I never said I didn't love you. I just don't anymore. Las Nevadas isn't your country anymore and Quackity is very unstable and he needs to be stopped. You're fighting with your old allies."
I sit there and stare at her.
She has a point. It was just one date which doesn't solidify anything. I really hate Quackity now, I'll do anything to see Quackity brought to justice.
"I'll do it," I say. "To see Quackity be brought down."
"Thank you Sam," she smiles and turns to go. "Just so you know, I formed a deal with Dream. I help him with anything he needs and he gives me the friendship I've wanted for so long. But I think we're becoming more than friends already."
Y/N opens the redstone door and leaves.
Why? How does she like Dream more than me? It doesn't matter now. Whatever happened is in the past. I should have known.
I need to train for this war. Quackity will pay.

Y/N POV
Sam agreed pretty quickly to the plan. I just need details of the war. Maybe I can get that from Tubbo. I'll tell him our plan but make it clear that we're not allies with Snowchester. I hope this goes to plan. Dream gave me a bigger plan and this is a key factor. Our allies will become his knights when he becomes king. I don't know how but we're going to make him king. He believes that being king will help the Smp and so sort of disagree but if we can play our cards right, it might just work.
I trek to Snowchester and knock on the front gates. Tubbo appears with a loaded crossbow.
"Y/N! What are you doing here?"
"I want to talk to you about some things."
"Okay come in," Tubbo says lowering his weapon and leading me inside.
I walk inside and see Captain Puffy, Jack Manifold, and Ranboo running around preparing weapons.
"We're preparing for war," Tubbo says.
"I know, that's what I want to talk to you about," I begin.
"Okay," Tubbo stops and looks at me.
"Some allies of mine are going to join in the fighting to take down Quackity. We're not fighting against Snowchester but we're fighting as if we're allied. Our interests so happen to align."
"Hmmm, I'd like that. So you'll be fighting Quackity for you're own reasons but you'll be another force weakening him for us."
"Yes."
"I'm fine with that. You won't attack us right?" he asks.
"We shouldn't but no promises since some of my allies might use this as an opportunity to get back at you as they've had past... disagreements... with you."
"It's going to be one big battle," Tubbo sighs. "I can see other people getting dragged into this as allies for Las Nevadas."
"Yes, so we need to be prepared. I just wanted to let you know about this."
"Yeah thanks," he smiles, turning to see Jack hauling several sets of armor.
"Do you know any details on the war like when it's starting?"
"No," he confirms. "They'll probably launch another attack which will kick start the war and then we'll actually have battle."
"Okay," I turn to the door. "Good luck."
"You too," he says.
Running through the nether I get a thought.
Las Nevadas attacks first, what if they attack Kinoko Kingdom and they have to fight back?
