3rd Person Omniscient POV
Dream follows Y/N into the room. It's full of medical supplies, bandages, potions, and white beds. Sapnap, Punz, HBomb, Bad, and Sam all lay there, eyes closed. But when Dream approaches Sapnap's bed, Sapnap jumps up and hugs his friend.
"Dream!"
"Sapnap!"
The two hug and their noise eventually wakes up the rest of them. They all exchange hugs.
"How are you feeling?" Bad asks.
"Great!" Dream says. "Better than a few days ago."
They all laugh remembering their expedition.
"Speaking of which," Sam says. "Y/N, how did you know to come and rescue us and how did you fight off all the skeletons?"
Magic, Dream says in her mind shooting her a "don't blow it" look.
"Well, I figured that chasing skeletons into a forest especially when they could outnumber you, would be concerning. I just got a bad feeling at Techno's and I came back but it took a while. Once I got to the castle, Eret told me where you went. I followed a group of skeletons onto the base and saw you there. I killed the skeleton guards with your armor using healing potions. I took the armor and watched from a tree, I pearled in, splashed the potions, and let you guys escape. I set off the TNT I placed all around the bass and blew it up, I have to thank a totem of undying for saving me though."
"Wow," Punz says. "Just wow."
"Your girlfriend is amazing," George smiles.
"C'mon," Dream says lightheartedly trying to change the subject. "That was in the past, let's go for a walk in the village."
The knights cheer and all dash out of the castle happy.
Y/N watches them with a smile.
When should I bring up Tubbo's release? Dream would definitely allow it. Wilbur is living in the village now so Tubbo will have a place to go. I sense that Tommy and Quackity will be a problem later in the future. We're supposed to be starting over and forgetting about the past but I can't shake a bad feeling that once Tommy and Quackity get out, they'll want revenge.

1 week later
"Dream," Y/N says.
"Yes?" Dream is fixing his hair in the mirror.
She comes up from behind him and wraps her arms around his waist leaning her chin into his shoulder.
"Can you release Tubbo? Wil can take care of him in the village."
Dream stops fixing his hair and turns around.
"Do you really think he's ready?"
"Yes, I think he's ready."
"Then I'll release Tommy with him so Tubbo and Tommy don't feel so alone."
"Wow Dream, I didn't expect that but okay."
"Meet you in the throne room love," he says giving her a quick kiss before walking off.
Y/N heads down, picking up Sapnap, Punz, Sam, Bad, and Antfrost and telling them that they're releasing Tommy and Tubbo today.
They agree without any questions and they make their way down to the dungeons.
Ant unlocks the cells while Sapnap and Bad grab Tommy while Punz and Sam grab Tubbo.
Tommy barely protests and Tubbo looks on with wide eyes.
"Hey what about me?!" Quackity yells from his cell.
The knights ignore him and Ant relocks the cells. The knights lead Tommy and Tubbo up the stairs and into the throne room.
Y/N follows them this time instead of just teleporting. Dream sits on his throne regally as Tommy and Tubbo are dragged in front of him. Y/N goes to stand by him.
"What is it Dream?" Tommy asks calmly fighting his past instinct to yell at him.
"I want to release you and Tubbo and let you live in the village," Dream declares.
"Really?" Tubbo asks excitedly.
"Yes, you're free to build your own house or live with Wilbur. I'm not preventing you from leaving the kingdom but there are a lot of mobs roaming around the forest so staying in the village, for now, would be safest."
"Okay we'll stay in the village," Tommy says. "Thank you, sir."
Dream smiles under the mask.
"Your welcome Tommy."
The guards release them and Tommy and Tubbo run out of the castle to the village where they start building a house. As the sun sets, they glance at the horizon, pink, orange, yellow, and red rays falling, blending, and shifting.
"Tubbo this is our sunset. It is time for a change. We'll wait for Quackity and then we'll put our plan into action. Dream deserves a punishment. We played him well didn't we?"
"Yeah, we need Jack as well."
Tommy grins.
"Let's go get him eh?"
They both laugh and run off toward the sunset.

2 Months Later
"Dream I beg you not to," Y/N pleads. "Don't release Quackity, I have a really bad feeling about this."
"I thought you wanted them free," Dream shoots back slightly annoyed that his fiancé wasn't agreeing with him.
"I still believe that it's the right thing but I have doubts."
"We'll watch them carefully so they don't try anything okay?"
"Okay, fine."
She runs to their bedroom and pulls out the spell book.
DreamXD, I have a bad feeling about Quackity, I think he'll be up to no good after his release.
Hmmm, I see several possibilities where things go wrong or for the better. Just let Dream release him and see where you can go from there.
Alright, if you say so.
Up in the gods' realm, DreamXD watches over the mortal plain.
"She's right, it isn't going to end well. They'll still want revenge but Dream and her need to work through this together. It will strengthen their relationship but this will also mean they're running themselves to their deaths. If they truly love each other, they can make things right and everyone will finally be at peace. I believe Dream can do it but he needs her guidance. Without her, he's a heartless villain but with her, he's a kind and caring king."
