5 Months Later
3rd Person Omniscient POV
Tommy sits in the dungeon. He's been behaving but they still haven't let him out. Sapnap hasn't tortured them in days so the wounds are finally healing. They're all miserable but the guards are friendlier as least. They always talk to them.
Today, there are no guards on duty. They all left and the cells have been unguarded for almost 10 hours. What could possibly be happening?
"George what's going on?" Y/N asks. Her Y/H/C hair now has a (whatever color you want it dyed) streak in it. Dream has a green streak in his blonde hair.
"You'll see," George says mischievously and leads her outside.
Outside the castle gates, the citizens are all crowded around waiting and whispering. Dream stands there wearing his kingly attire. He takes her hand and pulls her to stand next to him. Smiling under the mask.
"Dream," she whispers. "What's happening?"
"Y/N," he says looking into her eyes. He takes the mask and pulls it off, giving it to Sapnap.
"The moment you visited me in the prison, I always felt something for you. Through all our adventures, ups, and downs, you've always managed to make me smile. I want to be with you forever, I want us to be happy together."
He gets down on one knee.
Y/N looks at him speechless.
He pulls out a black velvet box and opens it. Inside is a platinum, diamond ring is the shape of a heart.
"I love you more than I can express each and every day. Will you make me the happiest king alive? Will you marry me?"
The crowd holds their breath in anticipation.
"Yes!" Y/N screams with excitement.
Dream gets up and places the ring on her finger, he pulls her in for a kiss. The crowd cheers.
Karl's crying leaning on Sapnap's shoulder.
George is cheering.
I knew, Y/N says in Dream's mind.
What? He asks.
I saw you at night opening and closing the box. I wasn't sure when you would propose.
Fuck.
It was still very romantic though.
He smiles and pulls her in for another kiss.
They throw a engagement party for the whole kingdom and the citizens dance and party all night long.
Techno and Phil are there too. Congratulating their friend and partying along with everyone else.
Karl and Sapnap are kissing secretly in a corner.
After it gets dark, the people start to head home and the party is cleaned up.
Back in their bedroom, Dream and Y/N get ready for bed.
"When's the wedding?" Dream asks sarcastically with a yawn.
"I want to be engaged a bit longer before the wedding," she replies with a yawn too.
"Sure but you'll be queen soon," Dream says.
"What?"
"I'm a king. When you marry me, you become queen of the Dream Smp too."
"Oh no. So many responsibilities," Y/N says rubbing her forehead tiredly.
