19. Reunited

Sapnap POV

I went to the market yesterday to buy a trident from Punz but that idiot never has what I need. I want mending but all he has is Riptide and Channeling.

Quackity approached me this morning at 6:30 AM when I was just minding my own fucking business strolling around. He asked me if I had seen Y/N around here and I said yes just to make him go away. He's asked me that everyday since Dream's escape which honestly I'm kinda happy about. I told him that she was probably at her house and he left me alone. Quackity, Karl, and I used to be fiancés but ever since Quackity left for Las Nevadas, we've grown apart. Karl and I spend time together in Kinoko Kingdom and I cherish every second of it but I miss my old friends. Punz, George, and... Dream. Dream's escaped and I want to see him again but I already threatened him in the prison and he seemed so broken. I don't even think the real him is in there anymore.

I walk home around 8:00 AM when two figures in fully enchanted netherite jump me. I pull my sword and start to attack back. They're definitely using invisibility potions because all I can see is their armor. One pulls out a sword while the other pulls out an axe. I fend them off for a few minutes until the one with the axe darts behind me and ties my wrists together. I drop my sword and try to kick them but I'm immediately punched by the one with the sword. I'm pushed to the ground and I feel them tying my legs as well. One of them shoves something into my mouth and knocks me unconscious.

I wake up and feel myself being dragged.

Calm down. Assess the situation. Panic gets you nowhere.

I take deep breaths and calm down. My wrists and ankles are tied together. A strong fabric against my mouth. There's a bag over my head and my whole body is in another large bag. They're dragging me through the nether because I can feel the scorching heat of the lava.

Shit, what should I do?

Before I can think of what to do, my head hits a rock and I immediately lose consciousness again.

When I wake again I'm in a dark room. Actually I have a blindfold across my eyes but my mouth is free. My wrists and ankles are still bound and another rope is tied around my arms and chest to keep them from moving.

How can I get out of this?

I flash back to my training.

Reach back and try to untie your ankles.

I reach my arms back and feel the knot but it's an unfamiliar knot that I can't even feel the loops. I give up and decide to take a more aggressive option.

"Fuck you bitches!" I yell. "Too cowardly you had to use invisibility potions and blindfold me?!"

"You're such pussys!"

I hear a door open and someone enters. I hear their footsteps. They grab me and drag me into what I assume is the middle of the room.

"Why are you such an asshole huh?"

The person kicks me in the stomach which makes me cough. But I keep going.

"You're so fucking bad that you have to disable me? In a fair fight I would kick your ass bitch."

I feel them grab my face and punch me in the nose. I feel the warm blood trickle down my face. They beat me a couple more times until the door opens again and someone else enters.

"What are you here to do huh? Help your friend? Why don't you tell him to fuck off?" I continue.

I feel the first person grab my head and pull it back pressing a sword blade against my neck.

"You better not being using my sword you bitch. Your sword is probably trash compared to mine."

I know they took my armor and gear but I just want to be difficult.

I hear the second person get closer and they remove the blindfold.

I blink as my eyes adjust to the dark room with only one torch but it illuminates the person's face well.

"Y/N?" I ask my tone completely changing.

"I told you I'd see you around Sap," she smiles.

"But why the fuck did you do this?" I ask glancing around.

"You said you wanted to see Dream," she says, still smiling with a glance at the person behind me.

I turn my head and I'm met with familiar bright green eyes. Dream drops the sword and hugs me tight. I feel the ropes being cut and I hug him back. We fall to the side hugging and crying. I shove away from him.

"You jerk!" I say. "Why did you beat me?" I feel the blood on my face.

"I wanted to make it real," he laughs "But I'm sorry if it hurt you too much."

"Hey," Y/N says and I suddenly remember she's there.

"I should get you healed. I'll be back with some healing potions," she leaves us alone in the room.

"I missed you so much Sap," Dream whispers.

"I missed you too brother," I say.

We sit there hugging for a few minutes until Y/N returns. She lights the room with a a few torches and takes out a few bottles. One is pink which I recognize as the healing potion, the other is white, and the third is clear.

"Drink these two" she says nudging the clear and pink ones towards me. I drink both and gasp at the immediate healing affects.

She applies some of the white stuff onto my face and smiles.

"Dream really hit you hard."

Dream and I laugh.

"Yeah," I say. "I'll have to get him back for it though."

"Oh by the way," Dream runs over to the corner where there sits a chest. He pulls out my armor and gear. "Here's your stuff back."

"Thanks."

"I'll set up a bed for you Sapnap," Y/N says and leave the room again.

"You spending the night here Sapnap?" Dream asks.

"Yeah, I mean I can't really get back in time."

The Dream I know is still here. I missed him so much.

Y/N sets up a red bed in the dark room but lit it with some torches for me

"You going to be okay sleeping here on your own?" she asks.

"Yeah, I'll be good," I say. "I'm feeling really sleepy actually."

I take off my armor and gear putting it on a stand before climbing into bed.

"Sleep well," she says blowing out the torches. "We're off to the Smp tomorrow."
