it's the way I feel my heartbreak

whenever I look at your face

smiling at somebody else

but I shouldn't be surprised

It's life

life is full of heartache

We never get a break when our hearts break

I can almost feel it coming

like my heart knows it'll break 

Yet it doesn't stop trying and hoping

as if it kept going the outcome would change

but I know it's just wishful thinking
