Your jacket, the one that you called your favorite 

Your jacket that you used to keep me warm during cool summer nights 

your jacket that used to bring us so close

Your jacket that you used to bring just so I could use it as my own

that jacket that you eventually told me to call ours

now became hers

I wish I could say I was surprised..but of course I wasn't 

after all, it was your jacket

just like it was your heart..

what was once yours that you gave to me

now became hers, and hers alone
