I love you...

three words that can make or break a person's  heart

who knew such simple words

could make a heart flutter or shatter

I had to learn the hard way

because I seemed to always say the words to the wrong person

I had to learn the hard way 

you won't always be someone's first choice

if you ever were a choice in the first place

but it's okay

at least that's what I say to myself
