When we arrived at our hangout spot, Aubrey was whining about her bat. Kel was laying on the ground agreeing with Aubrey to entertain her. Basil hugged me. " ..Why aren't you happy? " Basil whispered sadly. I didn't know what to reply with. " Please stop trying to leave me..! " Basil hugged me harder. " ....Please, please! Don't leave me again.... " Basil cried quietly. He quickly sat up and rubbed his eyes, then smiled like nothing happened. I'm so sorry Basil. I should be less self- " Sunny. " I heard whispers again. I turned around to see where it was coming from. Basil looked at me concerned. Kel sat up and looked at me. " You okay buddy? " Kel asked curiously. I slowly looked back and nodded. " You aren't selfish, Sunny. I don't blame you. Basil just doesn't understand how much you love your big sister. " i felt someone hug me from behind. But i knew it was just my imagination.
