After I knocked William out, I went to the living room to tell everyone the news. We had a ninety second celebration to ourselves before I finally spoke up and said Estrella, Luciano and I would be heading to the hospital.
Alessandra seemed to wake up from her nap right on time because she was standing against the railing from the second floor. I went up the stairs and brought her down. I also redid her hair before we left. I got her in her car seat and told Estrella and Luciano I would meet them at the hospital.
FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER
Poor Alessandra is confused as to why I am speed walking through the hospital walls. Her grandparents too. I think it was probably because she hasn't had enough time to wake up. It can usually take thirty minutes to an hour.
As we were approaching Elijah's room, Natalie was coming out of it. "Oh, Natalie," I hug her when I'm close enough. "He's really awake?"
"Mhm. He's been asking for you . . . Alessandra too."
