Draco felt ten ways betrayed. Even further then that, he could not believe that they dared utter their suspicions to Tom. Draco knew what they had done, and why it was that they had gone to Tom. A part of him could even admire the fact that they had gone behind his back like that just to go and get the one person that was going to be able to convince him to do something that he desperately did not want to do. It did not, however, stop the anger that rushed through him full force at the audacity that they dared to have. They betrayed him, tattled to Tom like some simple toddler, before ensuring that Tom would talk to him, it was horrid. Not only was it a betrayal that realistically he should have seen coming, he knew that Lucius and Severus only did it because he was refusing to abide by their demands.

That did not mean that he could not be frustrated about it, even if he had every intention of listening to Tom's decision on the matter. It was not as though he would ever go against the Dark Lord, or rather...the future Dark Lord...not even when he was scarcely older than himself. He did not want to risk earning his ire, and beyond that he was too nervous about the level of daring that one would have to have in order to outright refuse the Dark Lord. Draco himself, he had none of that, and knew it full well. It was lucky enough that he got to where he was now. He was surprised that hte Dark Lord had not burned him alive yet, but he would also prefer not to take any chances, which included not defying a direct command given by the Dark Lord.

Of course, that was not going to save Severus and Lucius, who at this point in time could practically feel Draco's magic lashing out at them in frustration, anger, and betrayal. It was not often that Draco had lapses in his magic, he was painfully in control at all times, there were moments that were few and far between but there always was with children, and even adults. Magic was entwined with the person individual, it would make sense that major emotional influxes could cause major...changes. That was obvious with how the very air seemed to be visible around them. Draco's icy anger making the temperature practically drop to nothing. Lucius and Severus tried to remain somewhat unfazed, knowing that the other classmates were slowly loosing their minds, fear running wild as they raced away from the common area to the dorms. Lucius sighed, leaning back in the couch, staring at Draco, who was still glaring at them.

"We knew you would not listen to either one of us." Lucius said with a light tilt of his head, continuing to stare at Draco calmly. Severus at times admired Lucius's ability to keep his cool, and this was one of those times. Even though he knew for a fact that this was just as shaking to Lucius as it was to him.

"And?" Draco hissed, his eyes narrowing as he did so. A part of him was still worried about backlash, but he had realized quiet a long time ago that this was not his father, not really, and this instance proved it to him. His Father would never go behind his back like that, no, he would force him with no regret of what it would take until Draco listened. This was not not his father's behavior. A part of him was unbearably grateful for that, while another part of him felt somewhat cheated because of it, and neither really made sense in the end.

"What more did you want us to do?" Lucius questioned and Severus watched as Draco outright rolled his eyes. "What? You were not listening to reason."

"That implies that you have more reason than I do." Draco stated, not hesitating in his retort. Severus nervously began glancing between the two, realizing that this was getting out of hand quite quickly, and if they did not somehow manage to get Tom in this stupid common room soon then things were going to be going far more than bad. Draco was getting more and more agitated the more that Lucius spoke.

"Well, obviously," Lucius gave Draco a thin smile. "You are not thinking quite clearly in this regard." Draco set his jaw, his eyes flaring at the words that Lucius had spoken, his fingers curling into fists at his sides as Severus swore there was a draft beginning to make its way through the common room. Severus saw things going very, very badly very quickly and it would look as though things were being made worse.

It was obvious that Lucius did not know how to calm an already irate Malfoy. Severus made his way in between the two, standing in front of Lucius, keeping the eyesight of both from each other, knowing that it was definitely not going to help matters. He lifted his hands, stopping before he could move too quickly and startle the already on edge boy.

"Draco, we know that this was...sudden, and we apologize for going over your head like this, but we are worried about you, which was the only reason that we even bothered to really tell the Dark Lord anything in the first place." Draco scoffed, staring at Severus, the chill in his eyes sending a cold wave down Severus' own soul.

"Well, I assume that makes it alright, just put a bandage around it all right?" Severus bit down on his lips eyes widening slightly as he realized that for the first time in a while, he had no idea how to really counter this. Draco's anger, whilst extreme, was also understandable.

How do you fight justified anger?

Severus had never had to do so before, and he never cared enough to pay attention when others cut through it. Justified anger...They had broken a rather severe level of trust that Draco had in them, and honestly they would be screwed if Tom had no care for Draco whilst doing this, then again, if Tom had not taken an interest in Draco, there was no way that they would have even bothered to talk to Tom about the situation in the first place.
