So, for a while I had been going through a process of taking the old versions of Living Emotion and polishing them very thoroughly, rather than rewriting them completely. (Because honestly, writing is nightmarishly hard for me right now...)
I've got The Balance and The World Below finished, and I've been... Periodically inching through Deadly Venom. The whole first chapter is done, at least.
Because I'm a writer who craves visuals to go with my work, and because Negito's story has changed to make more sense to reality, I decided to give his 17yo design an update. And I straightened up Posilyn's redesign, as well.

After the end of The World Below, Negito still falls out of contact with Neutro (now known as Nick) and Posilyn for two years, but rather than it being he's living in the palace and these two just can't be bothered to go and visit, it's because he ran away to keep them safe. And in his time away, he's more active in trying to figure out some things about his curse and gets into a fair number of scrapes. Every patch on his jacket is there for far more than just aesthetic purposes.
(I also stole the paw-boots from Cat Noir's design, whoops-)
Also, his chain finally returns! I had dropped it from his 15yo design and was originally planning to remove it from his older one, too, but found a better way to incorporate it in. The key hanging from it is his key to the palace, because I realized them being literal keys was cooler and made more sense than them being coins. (The dog charm is a gift from Posilyn in The World Below.)
Posilyn's design is a mix of her original 17yo redesign and a spiritual successor of her younger redesign. Rather than having a braid hanging over her ear, she has two braids tied back. Her simple wristbands evolve to bear feathers and she keeps wearing two rather than one. And her socks with sandals are now sandals with the more sensible stockings. Aside from that, the most I changed was the lacing on her dress and vest- on the latter, it's heart-shaped. On the former, it's kinda shaped like smiley faces. :)
Uhh, shoot, was that all I had to say? I dunno, I stopped in the middle of writing this to go grocery shopping with my Mom, so I don't remember.
