And in t...
The other night AT and I had been talking about how fun an AU where Sun had a redneck/country accent would be, we tacked on British Moon because whenever I voice Moon he has the same cadence as my voice for Barok van Zieks, and today I went ham on making them little designs for this AU. XD
I did reuse some old art, because I originally wasn't going to go so deep, but still! It was fun being able to just get to designing and not have to worry about poses or anything.

Ta daaah, Sheriff Sun and Prosecutor Moon!
For Sunny, I know there's already cowboy fanart of him out there (and I love it!) so I wanted to keep from stepping on anyone's toes. I replaced his frills with a bandanna and belt with a big honkin' buckle, swapped his slippers for boots with the spuuurrs the spurs, and left his ribbons and bells in place.
He's also got some gloves, chaps, a poncho, and a tail! It's got another bell at the end, and it's made of wire sheathed in soft material. There's a few extra feet wound around a spool within his shell, and his tail is entirely prehensile, so he can use it as a lil' lasso!
Moon being a prosecutor was basically an excuse for me to rip off Barok's fit for him. I gave him a cape, gloves, a cravat and a pin to go over his cravat just like Barok, but styled to match Moon's aesthetic. The only things that remain from Moon's original design are his hat, his bells, and the tails of his ribbons.
His cape is a lot longer than pictured, of course, and he also has a tail! Unlike Sun's, it's too short to be prehensile and mostly serves as a cosmetic feature.
Moon was originally going to have a prosecutor's badge, but it looked a little cluttered on his cape, so in this AU he does a modern AA prosecutor thing and just keeps it in his inventory. I'll post the version with it below.

Bonus notes, they're two separate animatronics in this AU. Their clothes are way too different for them to be the same. They still abide by the lights for the most part, but one can call on the other for help if they need to.
In Ace Attorney, there's a cowboy detective who calls prosecutors "prospectors" instead, and I think that's really neat so Sun does that. Moon fully respects Sun's badge and refers to him as "Sheriff" when needed.
Their personalities don't change a whole lot, except Moon likely becomes more dramatic and theatrical, whereas Sun gets a lot more temperamental and stern. He won't stand for no varmints causin' a ruckus in his daycare, y'hear? (He's also totally adamant that Fazbear Entertainment should give him a gun to protect the kids-)
