A Palace and a Court

Another weird title, this time you do have my sincere apologies. So! Remember how a while back, I posted animatronic designs that were based on Ace Attorney characters who died and then possessed the animatronic that conveniently corresponded to their designs?

I'm reposting those just because I want to, and I'm posting the "new" animatronic designs I created for a Beyblade version of that concept! I say "new" because they're not actually new. I just... Only posted them to the Phantom Chronicles... And never posted them here. X'D

Uhh, just in case it's necessary- TRIGGER WARNING, I'm gonna be talking a lot about the death of children and bodies/body parts. Please don't read if that makes you uncomfortable.

First up, we have some of the animatronics of the Court of Coleslaw and Burgers! Penny the Prosecuting Lioness, Justice the Defending Jaguar, and Korrin the Prosecuting Kitsune!

I think I already explained the design process in the previous chapters they appeared in, so I won't go too ham on the details. Basically, I used their corresponding characters' color schemes and with most of them, I added an item from their corresponding character to act as something to anchor their ghost to the animatronic.

Korrin is Klavier (age 17,) but you can't see his item because her hands aren't in full view- the item would be the silver ring he wears on his thumb in canon, which I headcanon is a promise ring his mother gave him to remember her by.

Justice is obviously Apollo (age 12), and his item is- of course- his bracelet which he canonically got from his mother, Thalassa. He additionally has a string of tiger's eye beads inside his shell, that being an item he was given by his adoptive brother Nahyuta, which is a headcanon courtesy of awkward-thinker .

Penny is Miles (age 12.) He does not have an item, the thing anchoring his spirit to the animatronic is his actual corpse. True to FNAF style, his killer stuffed his body into one of the animatronic suits. Miles was the first of all the victims and has been stuck in Penny for about 21 years, so he's definitely not in a good headspace. I tried to illustrate that by giving his eyes a darker gradient instead of highlights.
