Content warning for the chapter: animatronic gore, off-screen abuse.

---

I decided to revamp my version of servant/librarian Sun from the world where Eclipse won, and I'm a lot happier with him now! But I couldn't really think of or draw any good poses where he was just interacting with books, so I decided to draw him after being punished by Eclipse. There's the version without the gore that I made for the SAMS server, and then there's the original with gore.

I did leave the base design alone, and then I just expanded on it further. Sun still wears a suit and shackles, but now he also has a tattered capelet and the shackles have unbound chains. In the old world, you could hear where he was by bells ringing, now you have to listen for chains rattling. There's also a chain on his neck, but it hangs over his back.

I added more detail to his shackles because the original ones looked plain. And by detail I just mean random lines. :) Then I decided to keep his rays extended- in-verse, they either tend to lock up and sometimes he can't emote with them, or he's just so used to what Eclipse puts him through that he doesn't feel hurt enough to retract his rays. My favorite change is having his eyes have dimmed down to the lowest brightness setting possible because he's just so tired all the time.

Note about the blood: I previously wrote in Mouthful of Trash, Trashing My Mouth that it was a black, synthetic blood that shined red in the light. So ye.

Final two notes are that the dunce with a god complex's design is the same, because it's grown on me since I first made it, and I'm going to be posting a follow-up chap with some oldish art I never shared! Like, two or three years old, maybe?? I don't really remember.
