It's Been a Bit

But never you worry, I have enough art to make up for the silence! Most of it is, of course, Sun and Moon, and some of it's been posted elsewhere, but I hope you enjoy regardless!

Let's start with Burnt Sun and Moon from Drops of Burnt Sugar on TAtMB. There were two versions of the phantom Moon hanging off Sun, but I think I only posted the one with purple eyes, where he's overloaded by Peepaw Afton's virus.

I have to say, trying to figure out how to apply the damage to Sun (who I used as a reference for Moon) was a bit of a pain! The Daycare Attendant has no canon endoskeleton, so I sort of went with an amalgamation of the Glamrock endos you can see through Roxy, Chica and Monty. I also want to say that the pillow-pants idea isn't mine, that headcanon was originally created by aimasup on Tumblr.

And then, of course, I went nuts with the chromatic aberration.

Ta dah! I did a recolor of my test Sun and Moon to fit how I color them now, then I added a detail over their eyes to reflect that they're little display screens! It's supposed to be a kinda CRT monitor fuzz

As I described in Burnt Sugar, Sun and Moon can use their eye-screens for extra emoting. Their eyes tend to go blank when they're feeling overwhelmingly tired or negative, or they can shrink/grow in a cartoonish way to express emotion. They can also use their eyes to display emoticons of a sort, like hearts or clocks.

And another thing is, they're not limited to using their own face-plates, eye colors and eye shapes. They can swap 'em for fun!
