Sun Sprites

So! About a month or so back I made some reaction sprites for Sun, which I originally intended to use in some voice over videos I made but ended up not doing because, uh, I don't have an easy, reliable method for applying the sprites to the videos. But still, I figured I could finally get around to showing most of them on my art book!

I made several different expression folders and a four different poses for his arms, resulting in a multitude of combinations. I almost added folders for him to have the wire + bell tail, but I kind of struggled with making the lines smooth while creating interesting ways to pose it for emoting, so I put a pin in that idea.

For most of these, his arms are just in the "default" position, so they don't obstruct his facial features. This is his Awe expression, and yes, I did name the folders like I did for Shu and Lui. For this design, I wanted to make Sun a bit more visually unique than my normal design. So I made him more like the cute/feminine Toy Sun design I posted a little while ago. I also added freckles to his shoulders and his side, like the wild critter design I did of him.

I didn't add the CRT monitor lines to his art, especially because I was considering it may not show up well on a small scale (because the art is small, it just doesn't look it because these are screenshots I took of the zoomed in canvas on Procreate,) but I did want to show how his eyes change in response to his different emotions. I decided a neutral/middle ground was just that his eyes stop displaying with highlights, like Moon's default. (I just realized, does this mean that Moon's eyes display highlights when he's really happy? :Dc)
