Chapter 5: Is This Real

I don't know when but I think at some point during the night, I fell asleep in my cell. When I woke up, I got dragged into another room with some Hydra agents to see Ross.

When we entered the room, I get thrown to the ground. I don't want to stand up but they force me back up. Like why throw me down if you're just gonna help me get back up?

"Let's test the new weapons, shall we?" Ross mentions, making my spider senses tingle even more.

The agents let's go of me but I'm forced to stay put. They walk to this table that was behind Ross to pick up this some sort of blaster weapon and hands it to Ross.

Ross aims it at me.

My senses are telling me to dodge.

But I can't.

It'll get me in even more trouble.

I hear Ross clicking a button on the weapon.

And that's when I get hit with the blast.

I get blown off of my feet and hit the concrete wall to fall down on my stomach and hands.

I groan in pain.

My ribs hurt.

Oh god I hope they didn't break.

My senses starts to go off again.

Telling me to move out of the way.

Before I knew it, another blast hits me.

I hit the concrete wall again, making some more rubble fall on me and my head throbbing.

I let out a cough to just realize how dry my throat is.

I haven't drank water in two days and I only ate a small piece of bread yesterday.

As I'm in my thoughts, another blast hits me.

This time a bunch more rubble comes tumbling down.

The agents are laughing.

Ross is laughing.

They're all laughing at my pain and misery.

My suffering.

The tears that are threatening to escape.

The black spots trying to take away my eye sight.

I feel like I can't breathe.

But that's when my senses screamed.

It didn't tell me to move or anything but to run.

I force my head up to look at the table behind the agents and Ross.

I hear a ticking.

Tick.

Tock.

Tick.

Tock.

One of the weapons was about to blow.

The noise gets louder.

My ears are starting to be in pain.

"Does anyone hear that noise?" Ross asks his agents.

They all nod their heads yes.

And that's when...

BOOM!!
