You moved away from her, face all red.
"Thank you, Mrs Park" you said, smiling.
'Oh god i almost kissed her'
You look at Aerin who was covering her face, ears red.
You smiled and cleared your throat.
"Uhm...another..round?" you asked her, picking up her phone.
She just nodded, avoiding your gaze. Her hands were red too.
'she probably caught off guard. omg Jake you dumbass' you cursed at yourself.
She logged into the game.
"Sorry" you whispered to her. She stopped for a while and cleared her throat.
"I-It's fine" she looked at you and forced a smile.
'Holy crap her face is so red' you chuckled.
"Play" she pointed to your phone.
"Araso," you smiled.
Few hours later
"yess!!" you grunt happily.
"Nooo!" she yelled, sadly.
"It's ok. It takes practice to beat a pro" you said with a proud face.
"Oh shut up" she smiled and smacked your arm.
You put your hand on her forehead.
"Oh it's better now" you removed your hand.
"Really??" she felt her forehead and neck.
"Oh, jinjja" she said happily.
You look at the time.
'they probably finished school already'
"You can head home," Aerin said and you look at her.
"I'm better now" she forced a smile.
"Really?" you asked her and she nodded.
'i don't want to leave you here all alone though'
"You probably miss your bed," she laughed.
"Your mom needs you home too anyway" she continued. You look at her face.
'that face. that sadness came back'
'Would she be okay if I leave her?'
"Will you really be okay?" you asked her.
"I will be fine, Jake"
"And thank you so much for helping me and taking care of me" she grinned.
'i will come back'
"Okay if you say so" you stood up.
"Thank you Mrs Park" you bowed to her as she passed you your school uniform.
"Please come again" she said and bowed. You smiled and look at Aerin.
"Take care and call me"
"I know, you keep saying thatt" she whined. You pulled her into a hug.
'i'm just worried for you'
You felt her hugging you back. You pulled away, still holding onto her left arm. You slide your hand and remove the rubber band from her wrist. You quickly slide it to your wrist.
'she didn't even realise it'
You laughed and opened the front door.
You got on your bike and wore your helmet.
