Before leaving the house for school, Aerin removed the bandana from her wrist.
It's so annoying. She didn't care and just let it get shown.
She saw the plaster Jake pasted. She smiled.
She left the house, ears plugged in.
'I should invite the guys to play games later' she smiled at the thought of the guys.
She realised that she wasn't close with Jeno's friends.
Not like how close she was with Jake's.
"Ah, I miss them," she smiled.
She reached school and she could already see DaEun waiting for her at her desk.
"Hey gurl" she opened her arms. She smiled and hugged her.
"How are you? Feeling better?" she smiled and she nodded.
Suddenly she felt a hand grabbing her waist. She turned and saw Jeno snuggling up to her.
"Morning" she said, holding onto his arm.
"You took everything off," he mumbled, looking at her hand. Bandana and rubber band missing.
'He's mad isn't he?'
"Sorry, you can pull 10 times if you want to," she said. DaEun looked at her as if she lost her mind.
Jeno chuckled. Face still snuggling her neck.
He pulled himself away.
"See you later" he patted her head before leaving.
She stood there frozen. She slowly turned to DaEun. She frozed too.
"Yah.." Aerin slowly call out to her.
"He..didn't pull out a new rubber band.."
"He didn't pull anymore" she said to her, smiling.
"You're right.." she smiled back.
'but why?'
'this is so sudden'
'Is he finally realising that he's hurting me?'
'will he stop for real now?'
She grinned.
She felt as if God had answered her prayers.
DaEun chuckled.
"Don't be too happy, beb. It's so surprising though" she held her arm.
"I know right..what made him change his mind??" she gasped in happiness.
[ring dongg ring dongg]
The bell rang.
"I have to go back to my class. I will see you later during lunch, okay?" she said and she gave her a thumbs up. She left the classroom and she met eye contact with Areum.
She smirked.
'What does she want?' she rolled her eyes and turned away.
'but omg! Jeno is not hurting me anymore!' Aerin squicked.
She felt as if she won a lottery.
She paused.
She was happy that Jeno finally changed but..
Even though she was waiting for this day to happen, she didn't feel the same anymore.
But he's the only one that can accompany her through highschool.
