"This is Heinous trickery; thou assailed this one with it." Raven argued.

"Didn't you hear me, I dropped it." Alpha said. "And you cut it in half."

"Thou art as foul as the Pirate Flint." Raven looked like she was about to cry in anger and frustration.

"Foul tricks for a foul girl, Marquis Elkwood is troubled by your actions and asked me to step in. And you, Flint, I can't imagine she would be acting this way if you weren't doing something to provoke her." Alpha admonished.

"I didn't directly Provoke her, it's just that our personalities are too different." Flint grinned. "It's hard to appeal to noble idealism when it doesn't pay."

"Money is fleeting, honor is eternal! How many times mustht-" Raven bit her tongue thanks to the inconvenience curse that she was now under.

"You'll want to watch how much you yell; you've been cursed. Wouldn't want you to lose your voice or have you bite your tongue off." Alpha warned.

"Jekyll! Welcome back, I see you are safe and sound. With a flower in each hand no less." Flint ignored Alpha and Raven and ran over to us while Alpha was dealing with raven and picking up the remnants of the cursed dummy skull.

"So you were friends with this prince, just what this one expected." Zhang said confidently.

"And you brought dragons." Flint noticed Velice and his eyes shimmered. "It is a pleasure to meet you, I am called Captain Flint Teach, I am the first prince of New Providence, and who might this lovely breeze be?" He gave a flourishing bow as he put away his sword.

Velice grimaced. "This one is the consort of Zhang of the Jade throne, that is all you must know, Sea Walker princeling." she hissed as she demonstrated her devotion by gently leaning into Zhang.

"A loyal woman is a treasure that outshines all others." Flint smiled.

"And a Dastardly rascal will eventually get the misfortune he is owed." Raven spat as she approached. Behind Alpha who was carrying a case that was now belted together.

"And misfortune favors the rash like an ill-begotten lover." Alpha scrutinized. "See I can do it too. No one says you have to be friends but starting fights all the time is troubling everyone around you. So at least tolerate him or I won't tell you how to lift the curse."

Raven clicked her tongue and tried to storm off... she tripped twice before she disappeared.

"And as for you." Alpha turned to Flint. "If you keep stirring up trouble, I will talk to the Marquis about docking your pay."

Flint instantly paled.

"He is right, if this keeps happening, we will pay Alpha your share." A red-haired noble showed up. "Thank you for your help, Alpha, I'm sorry to have troubled you Marquis with my inadequacy," the red-haired woman said to Elkwood, then she turned to the dragon nobles and introduced herself as Francine Ulster the future Marquess. She said it with a touch of happy embarrassment and neither her or the Marquis could make eye contact afterword.

"In so little time she has already become my right hand, quite literally." Elkwood coughed to change the subject.

"It took quite a bit of manpower, but luckily the gambling didn't get too out of hand." Francine held up a bag of coins.

"You bet on me? I don't know if I'm impressed or disgusted." Flint scratched his chin.

"Not betting, controlling the betting. Call it taxation on entertainment or call it a bookie taking their cut." the young Marquis said.
