Chapter (1) The Twins Star

Although the night of Joseon is filled with the thunder sound, the queen's painful screams can still be heard. Royal Physician and paramedics are also busy trying to deliver the baby from the womb. In the dim sky, two bright stars are clearly visible. However, if you look closely, you will see that one star is slightly dimmer than the other. After that, Lord Sangheon ordered to kill the grand daughter and everyone who know about the born of twins and began a clean-up operation. Although the Crown Prince didn't want to agree to kill, he have no choices and could not disobey his father, the King and finally he had to agree to kill his daughter.

The Crown Princess who couldn't accept her daughter misfortune, she consults with the Royal Physician to hold the breath of the new baby girl to deceive her father to believe the girl is already died after she was born. Lord Sangheon check the girl and after confirming of the death, he left.

Then, the Crown Princess was handed over the princess to the bodyguard and order to taken out of the palace. Thus, the twins who were born on the same day and almost the same time, using the same womb, grew up in different places, one without knowing the other's existence.

However, due to fate, 12 years after the incident, the princess returned to the palace as a court maid and was assigned to do the laundry. The prince grew up as excellent prince which is good in both literature and military skills. Therefore, The King, The Crown Prince and his maternal grandfather give all of their love to prince and his life is filled with happiness.

However, in one day, the twins collided with each other due to a ball. When they met each other, both looked at each other in amazement. Even though they feel strange, the eldest grandson, the prince, and Dami, the lowly born girl as court maid who work in the laundry, did not even think they were twins. At that night, the prince told his mother about the girl who exactly look like him and the Crown Princess stop his son not to talk about this case further and she decided to inquired about this girl. Maybe she is her daughter. She needs to find this girl before her father know.

Shortly after brother and sister meeting, the royal preceptor of the prince was arrested under His Majesty order and due to his maternal grandfather proposal, the prince was not allowed to leave his quarter until the dust settles.

The royal preceptor, who is the master that the prince trust and is fond of. Therefore, the prince could not sit when his favorite preceptor is arrested and finally, he got an idea to swap place with Dami, a court maid to see his preceptor. When the price goes outside, Dami stayed in the palace on behalf of the prince and nobody know about this except from his eunuch, Hong.

While Dami have to pretend as a prince, she began to take an interest in the prince's books and borrowed them. One day, the Dami and Jung Ji-un became friends when Jung Ji-un, the son of the Inspector Jung Seok-jo who is the confidant of Lord Sangheon, accidentally entered the quarter known as the Haunted House. The two become friend because of a book which was borrowed from the prince. While Dami reading the book given by the prince, Dami was shock when she saw Jung Ji-un who accidentally entered the Haunted House quarter. Due to her shock, the book that she reading was fell into water and after that, Jung Ji-un also accidentally fell into water again. Therefore, Dami have to rescue Jung Ji-un. Due to this incident, the two became good friend. Because of Dami's words of praise, Jung Ji-un decided to serve the prince when he grows up.

The peaceful days did not last long. The Crown Princess soon known that Dami was his daughter, and the Lord Sangheon found out that Dami was not dead and therefore, tried to kill her again. However, who knows, the prince who swap place again with Dami to see his preceptor's final journey died in the hands of Jung Ji-un 's father, Jung Seok-jo. The Royal Bodyguard could not protect the prince and could only bring the body back to the palace. At first, the Crown Princess thought that the death body is her daughter and she feel seriously pain and sorry for her daughter. However, later on when she found that there was no needle mark on her neck, she realized that the deceased was her son, the eldest grandson, the prince.

To confirm the condition, the Crown Princess hurried to the prince's quarter and found his daughter pretending to be a prince in a prince's costume. This is the Fate. She could control herself and fell on to the floor. She loses her son and she couldn't let her daughter lose again. Therefore, she made bold decision. As a result, the count maid Dami was disappeared and only Li Hwi, the eldest grandson was existed. Nobody knows that the current grandson is Dami who takes place as his brother role.
