"How sad..."

The eldest Shiba son turns to his little siblings, his shallow wound only trickling small amounts of blood. His beastly rage practically radiates off of him, igniting fear into his brother and sister, along with the brother of the girl he's holding hostage.

"Hakkai... Yuzuha... You tried to kill your blood-related brother." The maniacal look in his eyes—with one more closed than the other—is paired with the vein that bulges as fury rushes with his blood. "Your own family who whittled down his own flesh and bones... For you!!"

"For us? Like hell."

Despite her fear, Yuzuha pushes it aside. She clenches her fists, and walks up to her brother.

"Whatever you do, Yuzuha, fight on."

She didn't know the auburn eyed Hanagaki for long, but through their experiences, they're connected in a twisted, yet powerful way. The sister that came into her life unexpectedly, is about to be taken away by the person she's supposed to call her older brother.

"You did it all for yourself. You didn't give a damn about us." Yuzuha sends him a fierce and fearless glare. "You use words like 'family' so you could manipulate us this whole time. You're a demon."

Completely triggered by her comments, his fist flies on instinct. And so does Yuzuha. She slams into the altar, her nose smashed and bleeding with her brother's fist mark square in her face.

"YUZUHA!!"

Hakkai cries out for her, as Takemichi looks on in horror. "How could you!? She's your little sister!!"

The remorse Taiju expresses is nonexistent, as he slowly walks towards his sister and the altar. Yuzuha is miraculously still conscious, but the pain coursing through her is slowly starting to weaken her.

"O Lord... Why do you always put me through ordeals such as this?"

His eyes land on his injured sister, they then rise up to the crucifix that stands behind her. The fury dies just the slightest bit to make way for the mind straining stress.

Just seeing her down there, weak and unable to fight back. It disappoints him. It makes him feel like he failed to raise his siblings to be the strong individuals he wanted them to become. But even when Yuzuha fights back with everything she has, it's not enough in his eyes.

"Why must I murder my own beloved little sister?"

Yuzuha rises to her feet, swaying ever so slightly. The sheer fury in her eyes is something her little brother has never seen before. It even reminds Takemichi of his sister's rage when she fights.

But it's still not enough. The female Shiba sibling is once again sent skidding down the aisle.

"Taiju, stop!!" Takemichi calls out.

The oldest Shiba doesn't give two shits about the runt at all. He just walks towards his sister, fists clenched and ready to fly.

Before he can, however, someone gets in his way. The weaker Hanagaki twin. He's once again interfering with the family affairs.

"Calm down, Taiju-kun!!"

"Move, shitstain."

"Takemitchy!?"

Takemichi spreads his arms wide, creating a break between the two older siblings. "You say you care so deeply about your family, but in the end, you're the one who's tearing your family apart!!"

"Don't!!" Hakkai yells in warning. "He'll kill you!!"

"Hakkai!! This involves you too!!" Takemichi glances back at the youngest with an angered look on his face. "You're sister's about to get murdered!! You're going to protect Yuzuha, aren't you?!"
