*~Earlier - while Takemichi was at the Sano residence~*
Nakano is looking out towards the distant skyline of Shibuya. The sun beams on her from the middle of the sky, but it does nothing to bring her warmth.
But there's only one thing keeping her from freezing on the inside. The thoughts of Manjiro.
Is he waiting for her? Has he fallen for her scheme and lost hope?
No, it can't be. She doesn't want him to think that, though she wishes she could tell him everything. She'd rather not risk it. If this information were to get into the wrong hands...
She doesn't trust anyone in Tenjiku. For all she knows, someone may have been assigned to follow her. She plays with the cold metal around her wrist, which sparks an idea.
She removes the bracelet, and brings the lock charm to her lips. She places a kiss on it as extra luck. Before she can leave it on the edge, she hears footsteps from behind the door. She quickly drops the bracelet and hides it behind her foot.
She isn't quite fond of this presence. The door opens, revealing three people. Kakucho and the Haitani brothers.
"What a... Nice place you have here," Ran tries to compliment as he steps through the door and looks around.
"I don't live here," she states nonchalantly. Though, it's more of a home than the Hanagaki residence ever was. "I told you to go back to Yokohama."
"Eh. We got bored. Thought hanging out with you would be more interesting~" Ran walks towards her, and goes to sling an arm over her shoulder.
"If that arm touches me, I'm shattering every bone in it."
Ran sweat drops and pulls back, raising his hands in defeat. "Alright, alright. Sorry, Princess. My bad."
"You really wanna get killed, don't you, brother," Rindou comments as he rolls his eyes.
"What are you guys doing up here, anyway," Nakano questions them as she looks back out towards the edge of the building.
"Mucho called," Kakucho informs her. "He said he's located Hanagaki Takemichi, and he'll get him and bring him to a hideout shortly."
"Very well. Tell him to text me next time. I'll wait for him to take them, then I'll be on my way." She glances at them with a neutral expression. "As for you three, return to Yokohama."
Ran exaggeratingly bows with his arms outstretched. "Yes, Your Highness."
Rindou rolls his eyes, grabs him by the scruff of his jacket, and pulls him upright. "Stop embarrassing yourself, Nii-san." With that, the Haitani brothers begin their descent of the building.
'Rindou is the younger brother? Looks like he's being the older sibling out of the two.' Nakano shuts her eyes and rolls them, then looks over a Kakucho. "You're still here."
As the door shuts behind the brothers, Kakucho asks her, "Are you really okay with this?"
She tries not to express her confusion. "Okay with what."
"Being Izana's second in command. He doesn't tell you anything, does he?"
Nakano crosses her arms. "No. I only follow Onii-sama's orders. Second Commander, Princess of Tenjiku; those titles mean nothing to me." She stares into his eyes for a moment, reprocessing what he just asked her. "I suppose he tells you nothing either."
"Not until he makes the order." Kakucho sighs heavily. "He knows I wouldn't approve of his doings."
"So why do you follow him."
